12-16 - 2 Corinthians 1 1-7

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ (Paul’s, actually third letter to the Corinthian believers - we’re missing the first one.) 1 - Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother: To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia (A part of Greece.) 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus.

     3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Father of mercies and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all of our troubles [thlipsis - persecution, affliction, distress, tribulation] that we may be able to comfort those who are in any distress [thlipsis - persecution, affliction, distress, tribulation] with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. {True during dramatic, and often traumatic GWT Judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘Day’. Those who go through the ‘door’ of the bridesmaids’ parable (Mt.25:10) helping by serving called reigning. His long 2nd advent (surely?) a full scope version of his 1st so brief one. The INITIAL INNER conditions of some after all, are portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable (Lk.16:19, the inner outside of the light darkness, etc) and portrayed in the outside of the vision, narrative of Rev.22. Not to even mention all the closure needed for victims, and for all.}

     5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ do we share abundantly in comfort [paraklésis - comfort, encouragement, exhortation, consolation] as well. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation/safety. And if we are comforted, it’s for your comfort [paraklésis - comfort, encouragement, exhortation, consolation] which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings that we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken, for we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort. {Paying it forward.. Jesus said, “In the world you will have troubles. But be of good cheer, I have overcome the world” Jn.16:33.}

     {The Outline: The week plus 1 millennium, Rev.20, but portrayed as crests of waves w/o much of the in between. And within the week plus 1, a second outline - the holy days of Lev.23, as the 1st and 2nd advents. Key phrase “aionion kolasis” / eonian korrection / age of correction, Mt.25:46 w/ Jn5:28,29.}

Tomorrows verses - 2 Corinthians 1:8-14

Start the day with a Psalm (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150)

Have a great day! ☀️🕊️
