07-25 - From Heb-11 Lk-7

8Th ‘Day’ Study, verses R paraphrased [ref] {thots}

Hebrews 11:22-33  Luke 7:24-35

            ☀️ A.M.

Hebrews 11:22-33

22 -  By faith Joseph, at the end of his life, told them to take his bones with them, for he foresaw they would exodus from Egypt.

     23 By faith Moses, when born, was hidden for three months by his parents. They saw the child was blessed, and they were not afraid of the king's edict. 24 By faith Moses, when he was grown, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 choosing instead to be mistreated with his own people, the people of God, rather than enjoy the fleeting pleasures of Egypt.

     26 He considered being out of favor because of Christ, to be greater wealth - than all the treasures of Egypt! For he was looking to the reward [misthapodosรญa - from misthรณs - reward, and apodรญdลmi - return, give back]. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the anger of the king, for he endured by seeing he who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and sprinkled the blood, so the Destroyer of the firstborn might not touch them.

     29 And it was by faith the people crossed the Red Sea as if on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted it, were drowned. 30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they circled the walls for seven days. 31 By faith Rahab the prostitute didn’t perish with those who were unbelieving, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies. {“All those in the tombs/graves will come forth..” Jesus “will draw all” Jn.5:28,29 and 12:32.}

     32 And what more shall I say?! It would take too long to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets,  33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, received promises, stopped the mouths of lions..

            ๐ŸŒ™ P.M. Luke 7:24-35

24 - When John's messengers had gone, Jesus said to the crowds that were around him, “What was it you went out into the wilderness to see? Was it a reed shaken by the wind? 25 What was it you went out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Listen, those who’re dressed in fine clothing and live in luxury are in kings' courts.

     26 What then did you go out to see? To see a prophet? Yes. And I tell you, more than a prophet! 27 This is he of whom it’s written, ‘Behold, I send my messenger before you, who will prepare the way before you.’”{And so it is with the world’s “false prophet”. Prepares the way for the mankind and a.c. of lawlessness, etc.}

     28 “I tell you, among those born of woman, none is greater than John. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.” {During long 2nd advent? Full scope version of his first so brief one, but with helpers serving called reigning? Crowns of Life, not metal.}

     29 When all the people heard this, and the tax collectors too (disliked, even despised, because they collected taxes for Rome) they all declared God just, having been baptized (prepared) with the baptism of John. 30 But the Pharisees and the lawyers rejected the purpose of God, and were not baptized by John.

     31 “To what then shall I compare it? What are they like? 32 They’re like children in the marketplace, calling to one another, ‘We played the flute for you, and you didn’t dance. We sang a dirge, and you didn’t weep.’ 33 For John the Baptist (baptizer) has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’ 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35 Yet wisdom is justified of her children.”

03-26 - Eph-3 Jn-10

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 3:8-21  John 10:33-42 and Acts 19:21-41 separately

            ☀️ Ephesians 3:8-21

8 - To me (Paul) though I’m the very least of all the saints (believers, called out ones) this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles (the nations) the unsearchable riches of Christ! 9 In order to enlighten all about the plan, the program, the mystery hidden for ages. Hidden in God, who created all.

     10 And so that through the church {the true faith, genuine “way” of Jesus} the diverse wisdom of God might be clearly made known to the principalities [archรฉ] and powers in the heavenly realms, 11 according to his eternal purpose which he brought about in Christ Jesus our Lord. {“At the fullness of time, all in Christ” Ephesians 1:10. Though all/pas was changed to all things, three times in this one verse alone.}

     12 In Him (Jesus) we have boldness and access - with confidence - through our faith in him.

     13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I’m suffering for you, which is for your glory {and benefit}. 14 And for this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15 from whom every family of heaven, and on earth, is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory, he may grant you to be strengthened - with power through his Spirit in your inner being - 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have the strength to comprehend with all believers what is the breadth, length, height and depth of 19 the love {revealed} in Christ that surpasses all knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God. {I’m convinced what needed to be “appeased” is not an ‘angry god’ but the human conscience. After all, imperfection is an abyss of potential. And - eveRy - conscience needs to be appeased.}

      20 Now to he who is able to do far more than all we ask or think, according to his power at work in us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. {Big revival is prophecied as man’s world approaches its climax. That and a lot of “lawlessness” and “delusion”/enchantment. After all the still tares will gather to that last battle, against, you guessed it, Israel. Isaiah 24:20/Rev.10:4.}

            ๐ŸŒ™ John 10:33-42

33 - They {leaders of Israel, albeit during occupation by Rome, actually more political than spiritual/religious.. executed Christ due to concerns over their seats of power not only over Israel, but with Rome. It’s also why “tax collectors” were looked down on, because, though Hebrew/of Israel during occupation, they collected taxes for Rome.}

     (The leaders) answered Jesus, “It’s not for a good work that we’re going to stone you! But for blasphemy! For you, being a man, make yourself out to be God!”

     34 Then Jesus asked them, “Isn’t it written in your Law, ‘I said, ye are gods’? 35 If he called them gods to whom the word of God was given, and Scripture can’t be broken, 36 how do you say of he who the Fatherbb set apart and sent into the world, blasphemy, because I said, ‘I’m - the Son - of God’?”

     {Set apart, called “first” and is the only straight out from God one, so close, Father and Son both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. Called First/proto, the prototype. God’s Spirit/Presence will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity.}

    37 “If I’m not doing the works of my Father, then don’t believe me. 38 But if I do them, even if you don’t believe me, believe the works, so you may know and understand the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” 39 Again they sought to arrest him, but he escaped from their grasp.

     40 He went then, again, across River Jordan to the place where John had first been baptizing, and there he stayed for a while. 41 And many came to him, and were saying to one another, “John did no sign, but everything he said about this man has been true.” 42 And many in that region were believing.

09-27 - LUKE 15 1-10

paraphrased ‘enter the story’

  ๐Ÿ•Š️reading & study ๐Ÿ•Š️

1 - Now the tax collectors (tax collectors for Imperial Rome.. so not very well liked) and notorious sinners {harlots, drunkards, etc. of the common people, higher ‘class’ people could hide being notorious} were drawing near to listen to him. 2 So the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and even eats with them!”

     3 So he told them this parable, 4 “What one of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one, doesn’t leave the ninety-nine in the field, and go after the lost one until he finds it? 5 And when he’s found it, he rejoices and carries it home on his shoulder. 6 And when he’s home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I’ve found my lost sheep!’ 7 In the same way, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one rebel who turns, than over ninety-nine {so called} righteous ones. 8 Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one, doesn’t light a lamp, sweep the house and look diligently until she finds it? 9 And when she’s found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, ‘Rejoice with me, for I’ve found the coin I lost.’ 10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner [hamartลlรณs - an adjective, derived from hamartรกnล - which in turn, is from hamartia - missing the mark, and nล - wide, so missing wide of the mark] who repents.” {Don’t forget, the Pharisees, as a group/party {in sheep’s clothing} were robbing widow’s houses..)

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 21:23-32 ~

23 - And when he was in the temple, the chief priests (leaders) and elders of the people came up to him as he was teaching, and said, “By what authority are you doing these things, and who gave you this authority!?” 24 Jesus answered, “I will ask you a question, and if you tell me the answer, I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25 The baptism of John, from whence was it? From heaven or from man?” So they discussed it among theirselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say to us, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’ 26 But if we say, ‘From man,’ we are afraid of the crowd (biggest obstacle to domination, the people) for they all hold that John was a prophet.” 27 So they answered him, “We don’t know.” And he said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”

     28 “What do you think? A man had two sons. He told the first, ‘Son, go and work in the vineyard today.’ 29 And the son answered, ‘I will not,’ but afterward he changed his mind and went. 30 And he went to the other son and said the same, who answered, ‘I will go, sir,’ but did not go. 31 Which of the two did the will of his father?” They said, “The first.” Jesus said, “Truly, I tell you, the tax collectors (collecting for occupying Rome!) and prostitutes are going into the kingdom of God ahead of you. 32 For John came to you in the way of righteousness, and you didn’t believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes believed him. And even when you saw that - people streaming to God - you did not afterward change your minds and believe him!

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                  ~ Philippians 3:8-14 ~

8 - Indeed, I (Paul) count everything as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all social standings and count them as nothing in order that I may gain Christ, 9 and be found in him - not having a righteousness of my own (earned) - that comes from the law, but the standing which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends upon faith/believing(/accepting a gift). 10 That I may know him! And the POWER of his resurrection, as well as the partnersip of his sufferings, being conformed to his death (my lower disobedient and selfish/self-first, self dies, I let it fade away) 11 that by any means possible I may attain to the resurrection from death. 12 NoT that I have already obtained it, and already am perfect [Heb.11:40] but I press on to make it my own [we “put on immortality and incorruption at the resurrection at his return/arrival] because Jesus has made me - his. 13 Brethren/brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have yet made it, and on my own! But one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind, I strain forward to what lies ahead. 14 I press on toward the goal! For the prize of the upward call of God, which is in Christ Jesus.
