08-25 - 1John 5 1-5 Mark 9 2-13

Verses paraphrased due to ©‘s [ref] {thots}

(An 8TH ‘DAY’ Studies Journal)

            ☀️ A.M. 1John 5:1-5

1 - Everyone believing Jesus is the Christ, has been “born of God”. And everyone loving God, loves those born of him as well! 2 And we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his instructions. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commands (instructions). And his commands aren’t difficult. 4 For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And the victory that overcomes the world, is our faith.

     5 Who is it who overcomes “the world” but the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God!

            πŸŒ™ P.M. MARK 9:2-13

2 Six days later Jesus took with him Peter and James and John, and they went up a high mountain. Soon he was transfigured before them, 3 his clothes were radiant and intensely white, like no one on earth could ever bleach them. 4 And there appeared Elijah and Moses talking with him. {From another dimension called the future?}

     5 And Peter said, “Rabbi, it’s good we’re here! We’ll make three tents, one for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah!” 6 For he didn’t know what to say, for they were overcome and didn’t know what to think. {And it was currenyly Tabernacles?}

     7 Then a cloud overshadowed them, and they heard a voice come out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Hear all he says.” 8 And then, all returned to normal, and they saw no one but Jesus. (“The” kingdom.) 9 And as they were coming back down the mountain, he charged them not to tell anyone what they had seen until the Son of Man had risen from the dead. 10 So they kept the matter to their selves, but they wondered what he meant by rising from the dead.

     11 Rather than ask about that, they asked him, “Why do the scribes say Elijah must come first?” 12 And he answered, “Elijah does come first to restore all. And how is it written of the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be treated with contempt? 13 And I tell you, Elijah has come, and they did to him as they pleased, as it’s written of him.”

MATTHEW 17 1-13

   πŸƒπŸ•Š️ 03/03 - GospeL Verses πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

1 - Six days later {after six millennial days, imperfection/being strayed, will have run its course, with two days remaining, Lk.9:28..} (Six days later) Jesus took with him Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain with himself alone {Mt.16:27, 24:31, 25:1-13, Zech.14:4}. 2 And he was transfigured before them, his face was shining as radiant as the sun, and his clothes became white like pure radiant light. 3 And look! There with them was Moses and Elijah, talking with him. {I think from a dimension called the future. Because Jesus said “no one has ascended into heaven” Jn.3:13.} 4 And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord! It’s good we are here! Look! I’ll make three tents! One for you, one for Moses and one for Elijah!” [Tabernacles.. “Behold! I make all new, God will now tabernacle with mankind” Rev.21:5,3. Tabernacle, tent, triangle, three tents, three present.. triangle, Father, Son onLy straight out from God one, so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” creation and humanity - “God will now tabernacle/tent/dwell with mankind”.]

     5 Peter was still speaking when a shining cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased. Listen {always} to him.” 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were terrified! 7 But Jesus came, touched them, and said, “Rise, and have - no - fear.” 8 And when they looked up, they saw only Jesus. 9 And as they were coming back down from the mountain, Jesus said, “Don’t tell anyone the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from the dead.”

     10 And the disciples asked him, “Why do the scribes say Elijah must come first?” 11 He answered, “Elijah indeed comes, and restores all things.12 I say however to you that Elijah already is come, and they didn’t know him, but did to him as they pleased. And so also shall the Son of Man suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was speaking of John the Baptist.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 17:1-13

1 - Six days laterJesus took with him Peter and the brothers James and John, and went up a high mountain, 2 where he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became radiant and white as light. 3 And behold, there appeared to them Moses and Elijah, talking with him. (A vision.) 4 And Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good that we are here! If you wish, I will make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and one for Elijah.” (It was Tabernacle week?) 5 He was still speaking when a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased, hear and listen to him.” 6 When the disciples heard this, they fell on their faces and were afraid, 7 but Jesus came, touched them, and said, “Rise, and have no fear.” 8 And when they looked up, they saw no one but Jesus. 9 As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus instructed them, “Tell no one the vision, until the Son of Man is raised from death.” 10 And the disciples asked him, “Then why do the scribes say that first Elijah must come?” 11 He answered, “Elijah does come, and he will restore all things. 12 But I tell you that (the spirit and power like) Elijah did come, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they pleased. So also the Son of Man will certainly suffer at their hands.” 13 Then the disciples understood that he was speaking to them of John the Baptist (the baptizer).

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                  ~ Romans 15:14-21 ~

14 - I am confident about you, my brothers and sisters, that you yourselves are full of goodness, and all knowledge and are able to instruct one another. 15 But on some points I have written to you very boldly by way of reminder. This is because of the grace given to me by God 16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles (nonHebrew nations) in the priestly service of the gospel of God, so that the offering of the Gentiles may be acceptable, made sacred by the Holy Spirit. 17 In Christ Jesus, then, I have reason to be proud of my work for God! 18 For I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me to bring the Gentiles to obedience of following the way, by word and deed, 19 and the power of signs and wonders, by the Spirit of God—so that from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I (Paul) have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ. 20 And so I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been proclaimed, lest I build on someone else's foundation, 21 but as it is written, “Those who have never been told of him will see, and those who have never heard will understand.” (A repeating pattern, like widening ripples of a pond.)
