01-08 - 2 Cor-11,12 Jn-3,4

πŸ—️s New Testament & Bible prophecy study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • 2 Corinthians 11:30-12:5  John 3:25-4:3

and Acts 13 1-42 separately

            ☀️ 2 Corinthians 11:30-12:5

30 - If I (Paul) boast, I think I should be boasting of the things that show my weakness! 31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I’m not lying about all I’ve been through.

     {Who is Paul? He was a high Pharisee whose name was Saul - “Saul was trying to destroy the faith. He was going from house to house, and dragging off men and women and putting them in prison” and he encouraged and approved the stoning of Stephen, Acts 7:58, 8:1. Until stopped by Jesus (Acts 9:1-9) who said (Acts 9:15-16) “This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the nations and their kings, and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name”.}

     32 Then there was the time at Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city in order to seize me. 33 But I was let down in a basket through a window in the wall and escaped.

     12:1 - Though there’s nothing to be gained by it, this acting the fool and boasting, I’ll go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 Be aware of a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven—whether bodily or in mind, I don’t know, God knows. 3 And I know that this man was caught up into paradise 4 and heard things that are beyond understanding, which man cannot express. 5 On behalf of this man I’ll boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses!

            πŸŒ™ John 3:25-4:3

25 - Now a discussion arose between some of John's disciples and another person over purification. 26 So they went to John and said, “Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, the one you bore witness of, is now baptizing. And everyone is going to him.”

     27 John answered, “A person can’t receive even one thing unless it’s given to them from heaven. 28 You yourselves know I said, I’m not the Christ. But I’ve been sent before him. 29 It’s the one who has the bride, who’s the bridegroom.” [A ‘runner’ and announcer would “go before” the bridegroom’s arrival in a Hebrew wedding.] “The friend of the bridegroom, who’s been watching and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice.” {Which tells him it’s time to go before, and announce his coming.} “Therefore this joy of mine is now complete!

     30 He must increase, and I will decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is of earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly manner. He who comes from heaven is above all [pas - all, every, the whole]. 32 He bears witness to/testifies of what he has seen and heard. Yet no one receives it {listens, hears it}. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets this seal, that God is true. {And is telling the truth. Faithful!} 34 And he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for {upon him} without measure is the Spirit given. 35 For the Father loves the Son and has given all [pas - all, every, the whole] into His hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has enduring [aionion/eonian] {brightness of} life” {during this age, and will rise into “the” millennium, first half of Jesus’ long second advent}. “And whoever is not obeying the Son doesn’t {yet} see life, but the ‘wrath’ of God is still present with them. {Cause and effect, which is entropy “which doesn’t quit’. The wrath [orge - passion] of God being cause and effect as opposed to a merely mechanic, robotic universe that’a only a mere ant farm. — To believe is to become part of the “first resurrection” which is when entropy is checked by “putting on perfection/incorruption” a total vivification.

     Imperfect came about from the state of strayed (somewhat) from God who iS Life (surely?) and “is Perfect” - thus the word “reconciled”.

     Rev.21:5 “behold I make all new” is the second total vivification [“putting on perfection and (thus) immortality”] to which translators added the word “things” to pas/all.

     Now, the Rev.21:5 second vivification is separated from the “second resurrection” by the GWT judgment/discernment/review/closure for all ‘day’ (“aionion”). πŸ—️ Revelation chapter 20 is told like describing the crests of waves and not much of the in between.}

    4:1 - Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John, 2 although Jesus himself didn’t baptize, but only his disciples did. 3 So he left Judea and went back to Galilee.

11-25 - Mark 15 1-15

 N.T. in a year reading & study, verses R paraphrased [  ] references {  } thots

☀️ 1 - As soon as morning came, the leaders held a council, the chief priests with the elders and scribes and the whole council. And they decided to take Jesus bound to the Roman governor Pilate.

     2 Pilate questioned him, “Are you the King of the Jews?” And Jesus answered, “You have said so, not me.” [Under Rome, declaring himself king would mean execution.] 3 The leading priests were accusing him of many things, 4 and Pilate said, “Have you no answer?” 5 But Jesus remained silent, and Pilate was amazed.

     6 Now at the feast each year [of Passover week] Pilate would release a prisoner being held, whomever they asked for. 7 And among the rebels in prison was one, Barabbas who had committed murder in an insurrection. 8 And a crowd which had gathered began to ask Pilate for the year’s Passover release. 9 And he answered them, “Do you want me to release the King of the Jews?” 10 For he knew it was out of envy that the leading priests {the leaders of the nation, Israel, under Roman occupation} had apprehended him. 11 But the leaders had been working the crowd, and successfully stirred them up to ask for Barabbas.

     12 “Then what shall I do with the man you call the King of the Jews?” Pilate asked. 13 And they cried out, “Crucify him!”

     14 “But why? What has he done?” But they shouted all the more, “Crucify him!” 15 So Pilate, wanting to satisfy the crowd, released to them Barabbas, and having Jesus flogged, he delivered him over to be executed.

     {Sentenced at morning sacrifice on Passover, one of three “preparation days” of the week, which of course are preparation days for the three Sabbaths of Spring holy week. For a few reasons, it is not at first easy to see how exact it was that Jesus’ first so brief advent fulfilled the Spring holy days. But after understanding that, might we wonder about the parallel between the stretched out Fall holy days and His long second advent? Leviticus chapter 23. The days being Trumpets, 10days later {1000 yrs later} — ‘Day’ of Atonement, and 5days later — Tabernacles.

     “Behold! I make all new! …God will now tabernacle with man.. And the lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow.. For there will be no more death. And no mourning, nor sorrow.” A (fieRy) “palin/again- genesis” having occurred, Rev.21:1-5, Is.11:7, translated “the regeneration”.

     Note - “the” millennium is a Sabbath millennium, so logically, the next millennium is an “8th day” the “last great day” (Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37) when 1. The adversary, original gone rogue one, is released and he gathers, once again, a multitude - these are people descended from mortal survivors of the apocalypse. They are gathered to another fieRy armageddon, Rev.20:7-10. And, after all that concludes, 2. the GWT judgment ‘day’. Which in Matthew 25:46, Jesus calls agelasting correction [“kolasin aionion” oR “korrection eonian”] the completing of drawing all, Jn.12:32! [JN.5:28-29.] And surely(?) it’s a same process of refinement/correction for all. The crucible being life as we presently know it - this unavoidable, all important contrast - which continues until vivification either at 1Cor.15:52,53 oR later, at Rev.21:5, 1Cor.15:24-28.}

JOHN 12:37-50

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️11/05 - GospeL Verses πŸƒπŸ•Š️

       By Necessity Paraphrased

37 - Though he had done so many signs, they still didn’t believe in him. 38 So the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled - “Lord, who has believed your report? And to who has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”

39 Therefore they couldn’t believe. (Because it wasn’t revealed?) For again Isaiah said, 40 “He has blinded their eyes, he has hardened their heart, lest they see with their eyes, lest they understand with their heart, and turn, and I would heal them.”

     {One for all and all for one, aLL strayed, aLL called, justified, purified, but “each in their own order, Christ the First(fruits” first kernal of wheat that is broken and implanted in each one after him, “then those that are his at his coming(#2, the wheat harvest) then comes the end”(#3). [The greek word tel, means the “end-aim”.] “After the Son has subdued all” - which translators changed the word “all” to “all things” ..whenever they could ..See? Like everyone/all, they just couldn’t believe.. After all is said and done, and “all are subdued, including powers and principalities” - after all, “the Father has put all in the Son’s hands” - “then the Son will hand all over to the Father and will submit himself to the Father” {fresh waves of Life? When the second vivification occurs, it comes through Jesus, onLy straight out from God one. It affects the Son a renewal of the enduring vow? Life is a contract signed in blood. It’s unbreakable, the true “iron”. God iS Life, and he “is perfect”. So it is forever an unbreakable thing that only perfection and Truth endures. And imperfect results in the exact opposite of Life, and on the way - this gehenna slow burn - is an abyss of potential.

     But reality is an amazing spiritual pyramid, so to speak, Father, then Son (both pour forth God’s Spirit/Presence throughout all) then angel-kind and man-kind and all animal kinds, birds and creatures.. trees and springs of water.. It’s the River of Life. Being everything, everywhere, there’s no need to step outside of it.} So the Son submits all to the Father #3, grape harvest, “that God may be all in all” These verses have been 1Cor.15:22-28 wiTh the ‘key’ Mt.13:33, key word 3.

     For it’s “BEHOLD! I make aLL new!” Greek word “pas” - “every, all, the whole”. And then - (Rev.21:1-5) “God will Tabernacle with mankind ..a new heavens and earth”.. and the second vivification. Vivification is the “putting oN of immortality and incorruptibility”/Perfection.. God’s “jewels” Mal.3:17.}[[Mt.13:33]]

     41 Isaiah said these things because he saw the Son’s glory and spoke about it. {It was revealed to him.} 42 Nevertheless! Even many of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they didn’t say so, because they didn’t want to be put out of the synagogue/{and ‘accepted’ society, the establishment} 43 for they cared more for acceptance and glory that comes from man {and each one’s generation} more than acceptance and glory that comes from God. {Because it hasn’t been revealed. God is 100% unfettered Genius, could see all possibilities before speaking any act of creation. The ‘end’ result can onLy be the best one possible, and of course he has done, and does, all things as he has in order to bring about that best “end-aim”.}

     44 And Jesus cried out to the people, the city, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in he who sent me! 45 And whoever sees me - sees the one who sent me! {So close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence. The Holy Ghost which will seal the world and humanity. It’s not a case of what God has created, but what he is creating.}  46 I have come into the world as Light (the first) and whoever believes in Me will not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and doesn’t keep them, I don’t judge them. For I didn’t come to judge the world but to save the world. 48 The one who rejects me and doesn’t receive my words has a judge, the words I’ve spoken will judge them on the last day. {..The words ..sounds inner to me. “My words will not return to me void” Is.55:11.} 49 For I’ve not spoken on my own authority. The Father who sent me has himself told me what to speak and what to say. 50 And I know his instruction is Life. What I say, therefore, is what the Father has told me to say.”

GospeL Verses ~ Luke 16:16-31

16 - “The Law and the Prophets” Jesus said, “were until John. And since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is rushing in. 17 But it’s easier for heaven and earth to pass away than it is for the Law to become meaningless.” (Like gravity, cannot be broken, but breaks. Happily, as believers/followers we are now enabled by “Christ in us” to fulfill the law. Which “love iS the fulfilling” and “God is Love”. Our union with God is through Jesus.. We seek, ask and knock!)

     18 “Everyone who puts away his wife and marries another commits adultery. And he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.” (We have been “born again” so we start anew.)

     19 “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen and who sumptuously feasted every day. 20 And at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, who was covered with sores, 21 and desired to be fed with what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked at his sores. 22 The poor man died and was carried by the angels to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and in the Hades” (condition of inner outside of the Light darkness, his initial condition during GWT judgment ‘day’) “being in torment, he lifted his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus. 24 And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me! And send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am parched in this flame.’”(The “Lord’s eyes are like a flame of fire”. Every issue needs aLL pertaining verses. See Eccles.9:5,10 and Jn.5:28,29. Also Jer.35:32.) 25 “But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received your good things, and Lazarus in like manner bad things. But now he has comfort here, and you are in anguish. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm, those who would pass from here to you are not be able to do so.” (Good news!) “And none can cross from there to us.’” (The first full vivification occurs simultaneous with the first resurrection at the Lord’s return - beginning his long second advent. But the second full vivification occurs only after GWT judgment ‘day’ - aion - has been completed.. with closure for all and all things (surely?) and Truth fully proven to all, that straying/imperfection can never, ever result in anything other than an abyss of potential, a real hellish element, and concludes in death, opposite of Life.) 27 “And the formerly rich man said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him (Lazarus) to my father's house. 28 For I have five brothers, so he may warn them, lest they come to this place of torment.’ 29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will hear.’ 31 Abraham said, ‘But if they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                  ~ Ephesians 6:4-9 ~

4 - Fathers, don’t provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the training and counsel of the Lord. 5 Bondservants (working off a debt) obey your earthly masters (today employers) with as much ability as you have, and with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, 6 not merely when visible as a front, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 rendering service with good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 knowing that whatever good we do, this we receive back from the Lord, whether bondservant or free. 9 Masters (employers) be the same to them, not threatening or overbearing, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him.

πŸ—️ He Has the Keys

 πŸ—️(Mt.13:33 - The kingdom is like leaven being worked into 3 batches). “But each in order: (1)Christ the firstfruits (barley) then (2)at his coming those who belong to him (the wheat; 1st vivification). 24 Then comes (3)the end (grape harvest; 2nd vivification) when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying ..death ..so God may be all in all.” (1Cor.15:22-24,28)

     Why would God’s program of correction be any different for those HE has chosen be corrected during ‘day’ of judgment/discernment?

    πŸ—️If lake of fire is prophecy - and prophecy is earthly - that makes the Lord’s long second advent, logically a wider, longer version of his brief first one. But with helpers serving, called reigning, for surely to do his works is to reign?

   The 3 mentions of lake of fire are at very large fiery events - (1)armageddon, Rev.16:13-16, Mt.13:30(!πŸ—️), 2Thes.1:7,8 — (2)at the fiery final defeat of the adversary, rev.20:(5)7-10. And (3)at the fiery universal regenesis that is the death of death, rev.21:1, 2Pet.3:12-13, Is.11:7

..fiery ‘bookends’ of the Lord’s long second advent, 2Pet.3:10 and 12-13
