JOHN 3 25 - 4 2

   πŸƒπŸ•Š️01/08 - GospeL Verses πŸƒπŸ•Š️

25 - Now a discussion arose between some of John's disciples and another person over purification. 26 So they went to John and said, “Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, the one you bore witness of, is now baptizing, and all are going to him.” 27 John answered them, “A person cannot receive even one thing unless it’s given from heaven. 28 You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I’m not the Christ, but have been sent before him.’ 29 It’s the one who has the bride, who’s the bridegroom. [A ‘runner’ and announcer would “go before” the bridegroom’s arrival in a Hebrew wedding.] The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. (Telling him to announce.) Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. 30 He must increase, and I will decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all. He who is of earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all [pas - all, every, the whole]. 32 He bears witness to/testifies of what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives it {listens, hears it}. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets this seal, that God is true. 34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for without measure does he bestow the Spirit. 35 The Father loves the Son and has given all [pas - all, every, the whole, to which translators through partial unbelief(?) inserted the word “things”] into His hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has enduring [aionion/eonian] {brightness of} life {during this age, and will rise into “the” millennium, first half of Jesus’ long second advent}. And whoever is not obeying the Son does not see life, but the wrath of God remains upon them. {The wrath/orge/passion of God being cause and effect as opposed to a merely mechanic, robotic universe containing an ant farm. To believe is to become part of the “first resurrection” which is when entropy is checked by “putting on perfection/incorruption” a total vivification. Imperfect came about by the state of strayed (somewhat) from God who is Life and “is Perfect” - thus the word “reconciled”. Rev.21:5 is (the) second total vivification, to which translators inserted the word “things”. Separated from the “second resurrection” by GWT judgment ‘day’ (“aionion”).}

4:1 - Now when Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John 2 (although Jesus himself did not baptize, but only his disciples).. {Due to human error, mine, the reading for today stops here? lol)

Jesus Is Lord

I saw a radiant dove.. and it was over all the Earth..

2Tim.3:16-17 - All [pas] Scripture has been breathed out by God [theopneustos - God-breathed, i.e. inspired by God, from theos - God, and pneo - breathe out] and is for teaching, convincing and correction. And for training - that the person of God may be complete, and equipped for every good work.

And Prophecy

After a large crises, is a treaty/league of the many that lasts only 7yrs, and is broken in the middle against Israel - Dan.12:11, Lk.19:41,44. — Then 1,290 days (about 3.5 yrs plus 30 days) later, the final abomination that desolates, this time upon human temples meant for God’s Spirit/Presence? (1Cor.3:16). Happy the one who waits, and comes to the days 1,335 - Dan.12:12. Which is 45 days later? The last “ten days”escalating to the most critical? Rev.2:10

Jesus said he “will draw all” (Jn.12:32) and said - “All those in the tombs/graves will hear God’s voice and will come forth” (from the graves/tombs) “some into the resurrection of life (into THE millennium). And some into the resurrection of judgment” ‘day’ (Jn.5:28-29) which elsewhere He calls agelasting correction [“kolasin aionion” oR “korrection eonian”] Mt.25:46, the completing of drawing all! Some will serve called reigning, with crowns of life, not metal. And surely(?) it’s a same process of refinement/correction for all. The crucible being life as we presently know it - this unavoidable, all important contrast - until vivification either at 1Cor.15:52,53 or at Rev.21:5, 1Cor.15:24-28. We shall have character that is clear as crystal. Humanity and creation sealed.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 9:9-17

9 - As Jesus was walking on from there, he saw a man called Matthew (yes this Matthew) sitting at the tax booth, and he said to him, “Follow me.” (Now tax collecters were considered very unfavorably, as their job was the collecting of taxes for Imperial Rome!) And Matthew got up and followed him. 10 And later as Jesus reclined at table in the house of Matthew, many other tax collectors and sinners (not living according to the laws given to Moses for the nation) came and were at table with Jesus and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw this(!) They said to his disciples, “Why does your teacher eat with these tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But Jesus heard it and said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, only those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.’ For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.” (If we think we are perfect/self righteous, we are wRong. ..God is into mercy! “He has shown you, oh mortal, what is good. And what does he require of you? But to act justly and to love mercy [checed - favor, goodness, kindness] and to walk humbly with your God, Micah 6:8. (Walk with God. Which it helps if we are not terrified of him. Don’t get me going on defending him, concerning the slandering of him about things in the Old Testament, including two or three things he - did - actually do. What’s more merciful? Stop great evil from happening, or not? Maybe those stopped will thank him.) 4 Then the disciples of John came saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples don’t?” 15 And Jesus answered, “Can the wedding guests mourn while the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away, and then they will fast. 16 No one puts a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment! For the patch will shrink away from the cloth, and a worse tear is made. 17 Neither is new wine put into old wineskins. If it is, the skins will burst, the wine will be spilled, and the skins will be ruined. But new wine is put into fresh wineskins, so that both will expand together, and both will be preserved.”

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                     ~ Romans 4:19-25 ~

19 - Abraham did not weaken in faith when he considered his own body, which was as good as dead, since he was about a hundred years old, or when he considered the barrenness of Sarah's womb. 20 No, unbelief did not make him waver concerning the promise of God (that he would be a father and progenitor of many nations) but he grew strong in his faith, as, he gave glory to God. 21 He was fully convinced that God was able to do what he had promised. 22 That is why his faith was “credited to him as righteousness.” (Because he actually believed. And there was of course fruit of it.) 23 But the words “it was credited to him” weren’t written for his sake only, 24 but for ours as well. It will be credited to us who believe in him who raised our Lord Jesus from the dead, 25 who was delivered up (executed) for our trespasses and raised for our justification. (Strong enough to appease every guilty conscience, win over every delicate psyche, and heal and transform all. Although INITIAL conditions of SOME on that Last Great ‘Day’ of judgment/final discernment, aRe portrayed. Such as in the rich man and Lazarus parable. Also in the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22, which is obviously initial conditions of only some, and is spoken outside of the vision, as it does follow chaper 21! Where, note: translators added “things” to “all” - greek “pas” - in verse 5. Also in Eph.1:10, Col.1:20, and also to “one” in Jn.1:3 - These taken together, the new patch on the new garment, lol.)

  GospeL Verses ~ John 3:25-4:2

25 - A discussion rose up between some of John's disciples and a Hebrew (likely leader, sowing division, discord?) over purification [katharismos - literal or moral cleansing, root of catharsis]. 26 And John’s disciples returned and said to John, “Rabbi, he who was with you across the Jordan, the one you bore witness of, he is baptizing, and everyone is going to him!” 27 But John said, “A person cannot receive even one gift unless it is given to them from heaven. 28 You yourselves know that I said I am not the Christ, but have been sent before him. 29 The one who has the bride - is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and is listening for his voice (the call to the wedding) rejoices greatly when he hears it. So this joy of mine is now complete! 30 He will increase, but I must decrease. 31 He who comes from above is above all. The ones of earth, belong to earth, and speak in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all, and 32 bears witness to that which he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. 33 Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this - that God is true. 34 For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for to him he gives the Spirit without measure. 35 The Father loves the Son. And has given all [pas - all, every — translators have taken the liberty to add the word things to this verse and quite a few others] (the Father has given all) into his hand. 36 And whoever believes in the Son has life, whoever does not obey the Son does not (yet!) see life, but the wrath of God (still) remains upon them. 4:1 Now when Jesus heard how the Pharisees had learned that he was making and baptizing more disciples than John, 2 though Jesus was not baptizing, but only his disciples.. (he left the areas of Judea / around Jerusalem, and headed back to the region of Galilee).

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

               ~ 2 Corinthians 11:30-12:5

30 - If I must boast, I (Paul) will boast of the things that show my weakness. 31 The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, who is blessed forever, knows I’m not lying. 32 At Damascus, the governor under King Aretas was guarding the city of Damascus in order to arrest and seize me. 33 But I was let down in a basket through a window in the city wall and I escaped. 12 I must go on boasting, though there is nothing to be gained by it. I will now go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 For I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. (In the revelation vision the sphere of the larger, predator birds is called midheaven, so being “mid” heavens, there is the lower little bird heavens, so third heaven is higher than them.) Whether bodily there, or not, I don’t know, God knows. 3 But I know he (Paul himself? vs.11:12) was caught up into paradise whether bodily or not I don’t know, God knows. 4 And he heard things that cannot be said, which man may not utter. 5 On behalf of this one I will boast, but on my own behalf, I will not boast, except of my weaknesses.

Dec-16 From Mt1 Jn1 2Cor1

    a paraphrased scripture study

          - - - - - - - - - - - -

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 1:1-17 and John 1:1-5

1 - The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham (briefly summarized, lol) 2 Abraham was the father of Isaac, and Isaac the father of Jacob, and Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers.. ..5 and.. Boaz the father of Obed by Ruth, and Obed the father of Jesse, 6 and Jesse the father of David the king. And David was the father of Solomon by the wife of Uriah (yes David had to repent, not only was the story with Bathsheba, but he sent Uriah to the front line in battle!!) 7 and Solomon the father of Rehoboam, ..8 and Asaph the father of Jehoshaphat (does anyone ever say ‘holy Jehoshaphat!’ any more?) …12 And after the deportation to Babylon ..13 and Zerubbabel the father of.. 16 and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom Jesus was born, who is called Christ.

17 So all the generations from Abraham to David were fourteen generations, and from David to the deportation to Babylon fourteen generations, and from the deportation to Babylon to the Christ fourteen generations.

John 1:1 - In the beginning [archΓ© – properly, from the beginning (temporal sense), the initial starting point, what comes first and therefore is chief/foremost, i.e. has the priority because ahead of the rest and preeminent, the first, beginning] was the Word, the Word was with God, and was God. (Jesus is the onLy straight out from God one, forever preeminent, Lord of Lords and King of kings.] 2 He was in the beginning with [and, or “toward” / prΓ³s - “interfaces with”] God. 3 All [aha! another place where the translators added “things” to the greek word “pas” - “all”] were made through [dia - through, on account of, by the instrumentality of, because of] him. And without him not one [heis - one — the translators added “things” here too, to “one”] (not one) came into being [ginomai]. 4 In him was Life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

                      ~ 2 Corinthians 1:1-7

1 - From Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother — To the church of God that is at Corinth (at least third letter to) and all the believers in all of Achaia [most of Greece during Rome’s rule].

2 Grace to you and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus. 3 Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord, the Father of mercies, and God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we may be able to comfort others, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 5 For as we share abundantly in Christ's sufferings, so through Christ we share abundantly in comfort also. 6 If we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; and if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which you experience when you patiently endure the same sufferings and persecutions which we suffer. 7 Our hope for you is unshaken. For we know that as you share in our sufferings, you will also share in our comfort!
