1 - See what manner of love the Father has given us! That we should be called his children! And that is what we are. The reason why the world doesn’t know (understand) us, is that it doesn’t know him. 2 Beloved, we are God's children, but we don’t yet  know all that we shall be, but we know that - when he appears - we will be like him, for we shall see [horaó - see, perceive, attend to, understand] him as he is.
