23 - A believer who denies the Son, doesn’t have the Father. But whoever confesses the Son, has the Father as well. 24 Let what you heard from the beginning stay with you! {The original and genuine message.} If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, then you will abide in the Son, and also in the Father. 25 And this is the promise that he made to us - enduring life. [“Aionion Life”]

     26 I {disciple/apostle John} write these things to you because there are those who are trying to mislead you! 27 But if the anointing he gives, and that you received abides in you, then you have no need that someone should guide and teach you. For it is his anointing that teaches you about everything! And is true. And so it is no lie, just as it has been taught you -> abide in Him.

     28 And now, little children, abide in him - so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink back from him at his coming. 29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that believers who practice righteousness have been born of him.
