06-09 - From Heb-1 Mk-16

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

Hebrews 1:5-9  Mark 16:12-18

            ☀️ A.M. Hebrews 1:5-9

5 - To which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son, today I’ve begotten you”!? {Only to the straight out from God one.. forever “Firstborn of creation”. Whereas angelkind (later) and mankind (much later) are created/formed beings.. endowed with genuine thinking and reasoning ability.}

     Or again, “I will be to him a father, and he shall be to me a Son”? 6 And again, when he brought the firstborn into the world, and said, “Let all God's angels worship him.” {In the time of the writing of this letter, the worship of angels was going on. A trend and spirit. We have many different trends today, both old and new?}

     7 Of the angels he said, “He makes his angels winds, his servants a flame of fire.” 8 But of the Son he says, “Your throne, O God, is age to age, the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom. 9 You love righteousness and hate wickedness, therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness and exultation beyond your companions.

     [Companions - métoxos - (those who are your) fellow(s), partaker(s) with; from metexo - share in, in turn from meta - change afterwards, and mexo - have, properly change due to sharing and being an active partaker with].”

     {Father and Son are so close both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will “seal” and saturate all creation and humanity. As these five verses say, the Son is vastly superior to the angels, and all of us. “The first” - a foundation stone is laid first. Greek “proto” (the prototype). “We shall be like him” but he is “forever first”.

     “All of heaven and all of earth” are being “gathered into Him” Eph.1:10. After which, when fully completed, will occur, the “the regenesis, the “palin/again-genesis, fiery, of Rev.21:1-5 (2Pet.3:12-13). Last mention, out of 3, of a lake of fire. Each one at a large fiery event.}

            🌙 P.M. Mark 16:12-18

[Secretary/Scribe Mark’s version, his gospel/good news account of the advent is thought to be the earliest of the four; gathered by interview. All witness accounts differ in some details.] 12 - After these things he appeared in another way to two of them, as they were walking into the country. 13 And when they went back and told the rest, they didn’t believe them.

     14 But a little later he appeared to the eleven themselves as they were reclining at table, and he asked them about their unbelief and hardness of heart, why they hadn’t believed those who saw him after he had risen. 15 Then he told them to “Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever doesn’t believe will be judged as guilty.” {As with all.} 17 “And these signs will accompany those who believe - in my name they will cast out demons. They will speak with new tongues.” {Because their hearts are new? But beware the forked tongue of the adversary, which is of course division.. any ‘us and them’ attitude will do?} 18 “They will take to hand and remove serpents. And if they drink any deadly poison, it will noT harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will be well.” {Especially during long second advent, surely(?) a full scope version of his so brief first one. With “crowns of Life” not metal, helping called ‘reigning’ during the ‘Day’ of the LORD..}

Hebrews 1:10-14  John 20:19-29

Start/End the day with a Psalm (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150)

{Additional study - possibility from interlinear. 2Pet.3:10 “will come moreover the ‘day’ of the LORD, like a thief” [kleptés] (unexpectantly, quickly-erroneously often translated soon). “In [en: in, on, at, by, with, among, during] which the heavens [ouranoi - heavens, sky] with a roar will pass away. The elements in furious heat will dissolve [luó - be loosed, untied, released, divorced, (be) dissolved] and the earth and its works will be revealed [heuriskó - found, discovered, (and) obtained.” {ALL the ‘files’ from Eden to Armageddon}. I think 2Pet.3:10(-13) stretches from Jesus’ return at fiery Armageddon, to the “fiery palin/again-genesis”. The “Day Of the LORD” spanning the Lord’s long second advent right up to the (fiery) Regenesis and God’s proclamation of “Behold! I make all new!” Rev.21:5 [pas - all, every, the whole]. EPH.1:10 [“the pas”, “things” as often, is inserted] and 1COR.15:24-28 [27-28 pas, 5 times, changed only 3 times, lol.]

     Is.24:20/Rev.10:4 -> Mt.13:30 as Rev.16:14-15-16 and, oR Mt.25:1-13.

Jesus said he “will draw all” Jn.12:32.

03-10 - Col-1 Mt-20

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Colossians 1:9-15  Matthew 20:1-16

            ☀️ Colossians 1:9-15

9 - And so, from the first day we heard, we’ve not stopped praying for you! Asking that you be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 And to walk worthily in the Lord, fully pleasing to him, and fruitful in every good work, while {forever} increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 And strengthened with all his glorious might and power, for endurance and patience, with joy. {During this unavoidable contrast gotten over with first, a ‘quick’ one&done for all.}

     12 Giving thanks to the Father, the one having qualified you [hikanoó - made you sufficient, qualified, enabled you] to share in the light and radiant inheritance of the saints [hagios - holy, sacred, set apart] {but “not yet perfected” Heb.11:40}. 13 For he has delivered us from the domain of darkness! He has transplanted us into the kingdom of his beloved Son.

     14 It is in the Son [Jesus] that we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins [hamartia - missing the mark]. 15 He is the firstborn of all creation, and the image [eikón - image, likeness, representation, replication] of the invisible God. Amen.

     [“Eikṓn assumes a prototype, of which it not merely resembles, but from which it is drawn (R. Trench) (eikṓn) then is more than a ‘shadow’ rather it’s a replication (F. F. Bruce)” - from biblehub dot com, interlinear link to the original word.] {The only straight out from God one. Father and Son are so close that both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, the same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity, Rev.21:3,5, Eph.1:10, 1Cor.15:22,28.}

            🌙 Matthew 20:1-16

1 - “For the kingdom of heaven” Jesus said, “is like a master of a house going out early in the morning to hire laborers to work in his vineyard. 2 And after agreeing with the workers for a denarius a day, he sends them out into the field.

     3 Then later, around the third hour he sees others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 so he tells them, ‘Go and work in the vineyard too, and I’ll pay you what’s fair.’ 5 So they go.

     And then again later, at about the sixth hour, and also the ninth hour, he does the same. 6 And even at the eleventh hour he goes out and finds others standing idle. And says to them, ‘Why are you standing here idle all day?’ 7 And they answer, ‘Because no one has hired us!’ So he tells them, as well, to go and work in the vineyard.

     8 And when evening comes, the owner of the vineyard says to the foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ 9 And when those hired at about the eleventh hour come, each of them receive a denarius. 10 Now when those who were hired first come, they think they will receive more. But each of them receive a denarius as well. 11 And on receiving it they grumble at the master of the house, 12 and they say, ‘These last worked only one hour! And you’ve  paid them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day, and the scorching heat!’

     13 But he will answer them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take now what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last one as I’ve given to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with my own money? Or do you despise my generosity?’ 16 So many who are last shall be first, and many who are first will be last.”

03-04 - Ro-15 Mt-17

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 15:22-33  Matthew 17:14-27

            ☀️ Romans 15:22-33

22 - This is the reason why I (Paul) have so often been hindered from coming to see you. [Because of finishing the work “from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum” (a region of the Roman Empire) and to Greece.] 23 But now, since I no longer have opportunity for work in these regions, and since I’ve longed - for many years - to come to you, 24 I hope to see you in passing as I go to Spain, and to be helped on my journey there by you, after I’ve enjoyed your company for a while! {He has not met the Roman believers.}

     25 At present, however, I’m going to Jerusalem to bring some aid there for the saints/believers/followers. (There had been a severe drought.) 26 For Macedonia and Achaia volunteered to make a contribution for the poor among the brothers and sisters at Jerusalem. 27 They were happy to do it, and why not? It seems right, for if the Gentiles have come to share in their spiritual blessings, why not be of service to them in material blessings in a time of need?

     28 When I’ve delivered to them what’s been collected, I’ll leave for Spain by way of Rome. 29 I know when I come to you I’ll come in the fullness of the blessing of Christ. 30 I ask you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord and Messiah Jesus, and by the love of the Spirit to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, 31 that this service will be seen as good to them at Jerusalem {in the same spirit as given} and that I may be kept safe from the unbelieving leaders in Judea. 32 So that by God's will I may joyfully come to you at last and be refreshed in your company as we together, seek his rest. 33 May the God of peace be with you all!

            🌙 Matthew 17:14-27

14 - As Jesus and his disciples were coming to a crowd, a man came up and kneeling before Jesus, 15 said, “Lord, have mercy on my son! For he has seizures and suffers terribly! He often falls into the fire, and into water. 16 I brought him to your disciples, but they couldn’t heal him.”

     17 Jesus said, “Oh you poor faithless and twisted generation, how long am I to be with you? How long will I have to bear with you? Bring him to me.” [Twisted - diastréphō - from diá - through, thoroughly, which intensifies stréphō - turn – (so) turn thoroughly, thoroughly turned into a new shape – i.e. not the shape (form) it should be. Jesus is called “the First/Proto” and “we shall be like him”.] {Jesus is the prototype.} 18 So Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him, and the boy was instantly healed.

     19 Later the disciples came to Jesus and asked him, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?” 20 He said, “Because your faith is too little. But truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a small grain of mustard seed, you’ll say to this mountain (beautiful Mt. Hermon) ‘move from here to there,’ and it’ll move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” {Can you imagine a world where imperfect beings had such abilities? It would be like “the Titans” etc. And more Titans than Hercules’.}

     22 And while still in (upper) Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of man, 23 and they’ll kill him, and he’ll be raised on the third day.” And so they were greatly distressed.

     24 When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came up to Peter and said, “Does your teacher not pay the tax?” 25 He said, “Yes of course.”

     And when he came into the house, Jesus said to him, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of Earth take a toll/tax? From their own sons or from others?”

     26 Peter said, “From others”. And Jesus said, “Then the sons are free! 27 However, not to give offense to the collectors, go to the sea and cast in a hook and the first fish that comes up, in its mouth you’ll find a shekel. Take it and give it to them, for me and for you.”

Hebrews 9 21-24

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

 🍃🕊️  reading & study  🕊️🍃

07/10 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

21 - And in the same way he sprinkled with the blood both the tent and all the vessels used in worship. {All purified.} 22 Indeed, under the law almost everything is purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there’s no forgiveness of sins.

     23 THUS - it was necessary for the copies (examples, likeness) of the heavenly things to be purified by these rites. But the heavenly things (real) with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has entered, not into the most holy place made with hands, which are copies of the true most holy place, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the Presence of God on our behalf. {We hAve to be “made perfect” for God iS life, and is perfect purity, which consumes all impurity. Think entropy on super steroids or like God’s building block, the atom, “split”. “Our God is a consuming fire” Heb.12:29. Jesus is called the “First” and “forever first” - greek word proto. And surely he is the prototype! “We shall be like him” 1Jn.3:2.}

Dec-30 From Mt-3 2Cor-7

    a paraphrased scripture study

          - - - - - - - - - - - -

  GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 3:11-17

John the baptizer baptizing and telling the crowds - 11 - “I am baptizing you with water for (representing your) repentance [metánoia – literally a change of mind, after-thought, repentance) but he who is coming after me is mightier than I. And his sandals I am not worthy to carry! He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Here - is the fire. Yes? Jesus said, Jn.12:32, he “will draw all to himself”. Sure - initially - upon ‘day’ of judgment/discernment, it’s only logical that those who have been the vilest acting among us, will experience the outside of the Light darkness portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable. Where however the rich man is already moving on and progressing toward remorse.. the weeping, beating self with many stripes..) 12 His [the Lord’s] winnowing fork (it is noT a pitchfork) is in his hand, and HE will clear his threshing floor (the earth) and gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff (the husk/carnal and self first, part of us - the “heart circumcised”) he will burn with unquenchable fire.” (God iS a consuming fire, the expert refiner of the silver and gold of the soul. And, however, the earth will undergo razing and cleansing by fire - Ps.2! Every mention of a lake of fire is at huge fiery events - upon earth. The first one sounds manmade, Is.24:20. Go figure.)

     13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan River, and to John to be baptized by him. 14 But John said, “I need to be baptized by you! And you come to me?” 15 But Jesus said, “Let it be so, for it’s fitting that we fulfill all righteousness.” 16 And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and the heavens were opened, and John saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest upon him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” (He is “the First” - “forever preeminent” - “all in Him” - the first/proto. HE is the prototype.)

         - - - - - - - - - - - -

From New Testament Letters

     (In the Order Believed Written)

                   ~ 2 Corinthians 7:11-16

11 - For see what sincerity this godly grief has produced in you, instead of reasoned defense - indignation and regret. And what strong affection, zeal and judgment [ekdikésis - discernment and acting upon that discernment]. So that you have proved yourselves to be innocent in the matter. 12 So although I wrote to you, it was not for the sake of the one who did the wrong, nor for the sake of the one who suffered the wrong, but in order to shine light upon the earnestness between us, in the sight of God. [Earnestness - spoudḗ, from speúdō - to move quickly, speed on, swiftness to show diligence and one's best, and full effort by making haste - aha! Matthew when Jesus said “Come, follow me” got up immediately and went with Jesus. I love this word during these days where one of the “stumblingblocks” thrown about is there is no following, no enthusiasm - the thread of truth holding that error together is yes it’s the Spirit of God that does all the changing within us - key, it occurs within us. But the error erases and leaves out the changes. Well, if we’re all as perfect as any of us need to be.. where and how does the kingdom and paradise of perfection get to be instituted and established forever? Do we think God’s master blueprint is anything less!? And just HOW do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact? Obviously a paradise cannot be a mere ant farm. But what about total herd immunity? 100% forever immunity from imperfection, i.e. convinced immunity from the straying from God who is Life, surely? And who “is Perfect”, which makes imPerfect to be? - Ro.6:23. Isn’t this why the remedy was built in from the foundation? Eph.1:4)

     13 Therefore we are comforted. And besides our own comfort, we rejoiced still more at the joy of Titus! Because his spirit was refreshed by you. 14 And the boasts I made to him about you, were not later an embarrassment. But just as everything we said to you was true, so also our boasting to Titus has proven true. 15 And his affection for you now is even greater! For he remembers your obedience [hupakoé - literally, submission to what is heard]. And how you received him. 16 And so I rejoice, because I have complete confidence in you.

W𝕖𝕖𝕜𝕝𝕪 B𝕠𝕠𝕜 𝕠𝕗 A𝕔𝕥𝕤 15 1-21

1 - Some believers, also of the Judean faith, came down to Antioch from Jerusalem, and were troubling the believers by saying all gentile (non Hebrew/Israel) brothers had to be circumcised according to the law given by Moses. 2 Paul and Barnabas and others strongly disagreed, and the argument had been raging on (so to speak). So the group decided to send Paul and Barnabas and six other brothers to Jerusalem to discuss the matter with the apostles there. 3 As they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told the people how gentiles were receiving the message, and were turning to God. This was making everybody happy. 4 When they got to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders. So they told them about all that had happened among the gentiles. 5 But some Pharisees of Jerusalem who had become followers of the Lord, stood up and said, "Gentile believers in the Lord must be circumcised and told they must keep [téreó - to watch over, to guard, from tēros - a guard] (focus on?) the Law of Moses." (Whereas believers/followers focus on the grace/not earned kindness of God. That’s our only acceptable stand before Him. Totally for our good and benefit, as being not perfect, but imperfect (being hamartians, lol) we cannot make ourselves “perfect”. At first this seems a bad requirement, to be perfect! The ‘problem’ is, God is Life (surely?) the life force itself, and, he “is perfect”. So imperfect is the opposite of life. And obviously imperfection is also an abyss of potential. A fitting thought for Oct.31, when I’m doing this study. When we put ourselves in God’s hands, well he knows our highest blueprint. And the Scripture says we will be like Jesus. Jesus is called “forever first/proto”, the prototype! I emphasize he is “forever first” because sometimes there’s doctrines afloat that make it sound like we (humanity, or is it those who by a lucky shake of God’s dice are chosen to believe during this lifetime?) will be equal to Jesus or even the Father! Don’t they remember who first said “I will ascend”.. We definitely have to be on our toes as to doctrine! Some of it is very subtle.. A tapestry weaved with almost all true threads, with just one false thread that changes the whole thing. 🤔I guess that’s what the mistranslations are too.. Talk about misinformation! It’s everywhere!) (I have decided to throw caution to the wind and put parenthesis within parentheses.🤓)

     6 So the apostles and elders gathered to talk the matter over. 7 After much discussion, Peter got up and said, “Brothers you know that a while back God chose to send me to the gentiles with his message, that they might hear the good news and believe. 8 And God - who knows the heart - showed His approval - by giving to them the Holy Spirit, just as He had to us. 9 He made no difference between us and them, for he purified their hearts by faith. 10 So why would we try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear? 11 We believe that we are all saved the same way! By the undeserved grace of God, through the Lord Jesus.”

     12 Everyone listened quietly as Barnabas and Paul told about the miraculous signs and wonders God had done through them, while they were among the Gentiles. 13 When they had finished speaking, James said, “Brothers, listen to me!” (Note: James is the one who wrote “faith without works is dead” - as there’s bound to be changes and good fruit, etc.) 14 James continued, “Simon Peter has told us how God visited [episkeptomai - visited, selected] to take out of the gentiles, people for his name.” (This is the same wording used in ancient Old Testament days, about Israel. And now in Jesus, Hebrew and Gentile “are one”. Are brothers. One day all humanity will belong to “the commonwealth of Israel”.) 15 “And the words of the prophets agree, as is written, 16 ‘After these things I will return and rebuild the tabernacle/tent of David which has fallen down, but the ruins of it I will build again and set it on its feet/make it stand. 17 So the remainder of mankind may seek the Lord and all the gentiles/nations, called by my name” (all are his children) “says the LORD, doing these things. 18 From eternity God knows everything about all his works. 19 Therefor I judge it best not to trouble the gentiles who are turning to God, 20 but to write to them to abstain from the pollutions of idols, and the sexual immorality, and from food from a strangled animal and from blood. 21 For a long time, after all, Moses is read every Sabbath in every city.”

     The Ten Commandments For Happiness and Healthy and Peaceful Society:

  1. no other ‘gods’

  2. don’t make images or idols and worship them (THE big thing in the middle east ancient days)

   3. don’t swear to things in God’s name if you don’t genuinely mean it

   4. Take the day of rest, ESPECIALLY for those you employ, in household, field or world, even animals [#1 through 4, summed as “Love God”. THE law of Life for Happiness, etc.]

   5. honor your father and mother

   6. do not murder

   7. be faithful in marriage

   8. do not steal

   9. do not lie about or bear false witness/testimony against another

  10. do not covet/desire after your fellow persons house, property, etc. or spouse [#5 through 10, summed up in “love (have genuine affection for) your fellow person as much as you love yourself”] — Moses also, by “inspiration of God” wrote health laws.. like circumcision, no pork, etc, this was long before antibiotics fed to them, and strict quarantine laws. At Mt. Sinai they took a blood oath with God.. And NO other nation or especially race, would have done any better. The law was given as a guide and tutor, and to separate Israel as ‘swaddling cloths’ for Messiah/Savior of the world. Who was executed by leaders, according to GOD’s secret plan. Because it is strong enough to appease, ultimately, every delicate psyche and even the worst of guilty consciences. And is a blood Oath. And God doesn’t swear an oath in vain. (Isaiah 45:23 - “I have sworn in my own name” (there’s no higher to swear to) “a vow that will not be broken, that to me every knee will bend, and every tongue will swear” [joyfully] “an oath to Me”. — Which is a Good thing, especially considering God is Life.. the Spirit of Life.. Light.. and Love. If we love darkness, we can pray.

                         ~*~

     Very Brief Outline of Acts:

Jesus returns to where he was with the Father before his advent/visit (his brief first one).

The Holy Spirit/Presence of God is poured out on the believers who were in Jerusalem on the late Spring holy day of Pentecost. Peter speaks, there are 3000 new believers that day.

The good news message spreads, Peter is invited and goes to a Roman’s house and all believe. The first record of non Hebrew believers (besides likely some on Pentecost).

     Persecution breaks out.. jail. stoning. Pharisee Saul leads the persecution, but on his way to Damascus with papers for arrests, Jesus makes himself seen but is so bright Paul falls to the ground and is blinded. After two days he is healed and is a believer, and soon is called Paul. He wrote many (to most) of the New Testament letters, but spent a few years (it seems to me) exclusively listening to the Lord. He established many ‘churches’ in what’s called three missionary journeys, and met and worked with Mark and Luke, and quite a few others. (Luke wrote this Book of Acts.) His fourth journey is to Rome to trial as a prisoner. There’s a shipwreck on the way.. He wrote many of his letters while in prison and under ‘house’ arrest.
