MATTHEW 20 1-16

   ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️ 03/10 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿ•Š️

                  (paraphrased)

1 - “For the kingdom of heaven” Jesus said, “is like a master of a house who went out early in the morning to hire laborers to work in his vineyard. 2 After agreeing with the workers for a denarius a day, he sent them out into the vineyard. 3 And later, around the third hour he saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 so he said to them, ‘Go and work in the vineyard too, and I’ll pay you whatever’s fair.’ 5 So they went. Then again later, at about the sixth hour and also the ninth hour, he did the same. 6 Then at the eleventh hour he went out as well and found others standing idle. And he said, ‘Why do you stand here idle all day?’ 7 They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ So he said, ‘Go and work in the vineyard too.’ 8 And when evening came, the owner of the vineyard said to his foreman, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning with the last, up to the first.’ 9 And when those hired about the eleventh hour came, each of them received a denarius. 10 Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, 12 saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have paid them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ 13 But he replied, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last one as I’ve given to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with my own money? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ 16 Thus shall last be first and first last.”

MATTHEW 19 1-12

   ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️ 03/08 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿ•Š️๐Ÿƒ

1 - Now when Jesus had finished his sayings, he went on from Galilee to the region of Judea which is beyond the Jordan. 2 And large crowds followed him there, and he healed them.

     3 And {of course} some from the party of the Pharisees came to test him, saying, “Is it lawful to divorce one's wife for any reason?” 4 He answered, “Have you read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one’? 6 So they are no longer two but one. What therefore God has joined together, man should not separate.” 7 They said to him, “Why then did Moses say to give a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 8 He answered, “Because of the hardness of your hearts, Moses allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it wasn’t so. 9 And I tell you, whoever divorces his wife, unless for infidelity, and marries another, commits adultery himself.”

     10 And the disciples asked him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it’s better not to marry!” 11 But he said, “Not everyone can live that way, but only those to whom it’s given. 12 For there are eunuchs who are so from birth, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who have chosen to be eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Let the one who is able to receive it receive it.” {An option, neither way is a requirement.}

MATTHEW 18 21-35

   ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️ 03/07 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿ•Š️๐Ÿƒ

21 - Then Peter came up and asked Jesus, “Lord, how many times, if my brother sins against me, should I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22 Jesus said, “I don’t say seven times, but seventy-seven times.

     23 The kingdom of heaven is like a king who wished to settle his accounts with his servants. 24 When he began to settle, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents. 25 And since he couldn’t pay, his master ordered his indenture to be sold, with his wife and children and all he had, and payment to be made. 26 So the servant fell on his knees, imploring him, ‘Have patience with me, and I’ll pay you everything.’ 27 And out of pity, the master of that servant released him and forgave him the whole debt. 28 But later, that same servant went out, and when he saw one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred denarii, he seized him, and was throttling him, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’ 29 And his fellow servant {his neighbor/fellow person} fell down and pleaded with him, ‘Have patience with me, and I’ll pay you.’ 30 But he refused and went and had him put in prison until he should pay all the debt.

     31 When his fellow servants saw it, they were greatly distressed, and reported it to the master/mister. 32 Then the master summoned the man and said, ‘You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt because you pleaded with me. 33 Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant, as I had on you?’ 34 And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, untiL he should pay all his debt. {Cause and effect, fiery trials.} 35 So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you, if you don’t forgive your brother or sister from your heart.”

MATTHEW 13 44-58

   ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️02/16 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿ•Š️๐Ÿƒ

44 - (Jesus continues.) “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure that’s hidden in a field! A person at finding it, will cover it up again, and then in joy will go and sell all that they have and will go and buy that field.” {The treasure of Truth is hidden in plain sight, in intriguing riddles? Father likes a good riddle?}

     45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls, 46 and when he finds one pearl, of great value, will go out and sell all that he has and buy it.

      47And again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that is thrown into the sea and gathers fish of every kind. 48 And when it’s full, men draw the net ashore and sort the good from the not good. And they will gather the good but throw back the bad. 49 So it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the evil from the righteous 50 and throw them into the fiery furnace.” {Judgment, consequences, results.} There will be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.” {Fiery judgment simultaneous with Jesus’ return beginning his long second advent - Mt.13:30 is both Rev.16:14-15-16 and Mt.25:1-13. And they rise into GWT judgment ‘day’ initially some gnashing teeth.. which progresses to weeping..}

     51 “Have you understood all these things?” They answered him, “Yes.” 52 And he said, “Every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like the head of a house, who brings out of their store, treasure that is new, and treasure that is old.” [2Tim.3:16]

     53 And when Jesus had finished these parables, he left there, 54 and coming to his hometown he was teaching in the synagogue, and they were astonished, and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? 55 Isn’t this the carpenter's son? Isn’t his mother called Mary? And aren’t his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? (We have letters written later by James and Jude.) 56 And don’t all his sisters live here? Where then did he get all this?” 57 And they were offended at him. But Jesus said, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town and in his own household.” 58 And he was not able to do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief.

MATTHEW 13 18-30

   ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️02/14 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿ•Š️๐Ÿƒ

18 - “Hear then the meaning (the voice) of the parable of the sower” Jesus continued. 19 “When someone hears the good news of the kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what has been sown in their heart. This is the seed that was sown along the pathway. 20 As for what was sown on rocky ground, this is when someone hears the word and receives it with joy. 21 Yet they have no root within theirself, and so they endure only a while, and when trouble or persecution arises on account of the message” {the Kingdom versus man’s world; God’s creation versus mankind’s creation upon it} “they soon fall away.

     22 As for what was sown among thorns, this is when someone hears the message, but the cares of the world and the lure of worldly things and riches chokes the message, and it becomes unfruitful. 23 But the seed that is planted upon good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it. And they indeed bear fruit, and yield, sometimes a hundredfold, sometimes sixty, and with another thirtyfold.”

     24 Then he told them another parable, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 But! While his men were sleeping, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and then stole back away. 26 And later, when the wheat came up and was bearing grain, the weeds were there too. 27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said, ‘Master! Wasn’t it good seed you sowed in your field! Why are there all these many weeds as well?’ 28 He answered, ‘An enemy has done this!’ So the servants said, ‘Do you want us to go and gather out the weeds?’ 29 But he said, ‘No, in taking out the weeds, you might also ruin some of the wheat. 30 Let them grow together until harvest, and at harvest time I’ll say to the reapers ‘Gather first the weeds in bundles’ {armies rev.16:14-15-16) ‘to be burned.’” (In a bonfire, at this point is the first mention of a lake of fire.) “‘But gather the wheat into my barn.’” {Through the door of the ten bridesmaids parable, Mt.25:1-13.}

MATTHEW 8 1-17

    ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️01/23 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️

8:1 - When he came down from the mountain, great crowds were following him. 2 And a leper came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” 3 And Jesus reached out his hand and touched him, saying, “I will. Be clean.”And his leprosy was gone immediately. 4 And Jesus said, “Don’t tell anyone. But go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses instructed, as a proof to them.”

     5 When he was in Capernaum, a Roman centurion came and said to him, 6 “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.” 7 And Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” 8 But the centurion said, “Lord, I’m not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I too am a man with authority, with soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes, and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, he marveled and said to those around him, “Truly, I tell you, no where in all Israel have I found such faith. 11 Many, I tell you, will come from east and west and will recline at table with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven, 12 while the sons and daughters of the kingdom will be outside in darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.” {Surely(?) this is foremost, an inner, outside of the Light, darkness.. As portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable (and the outside of the vision narrative of Rev.22). With gnashing of teeth progressing to weeping.. and beating self up with many stripes, because (Jn.12.32) Jesus said he “will draw all”. All being from the greek word “pas”. Which word was changed into “all things” whenever possible.. Rev.21:5, Eph.1:10, Jn.13:3, 1Cor.15:27-28, five times! ..This due to translator partial disbelief?

     13 And to the centurion Jesus said, “Go, it will be done for you, as you have believed.” And the servant was healed at that very moment.

     14 When Jesus entered Peter's house, he saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying sick with a fever, 15 so he touched her hand, and the fever left her. And she rose up and began to prepare a meal for them. 16 And that evening they brought to the house many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. 17 This fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, “He took our illnesses and carried our diseases.”

MATTHEW 7 21-29

     ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️01/22 - GospeL Verses ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•Š️

21 - “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven. but the one doing the will of my Father, who’s in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, ‘But Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we cast out demons in your name? And do many mighty works [dunamis - power, strength, ability, might, miracle, energy, works] in your name?’ 23 Then [tote - then, at that time] I will say to them, ‘I’ve never known you, depart from me, all those working lawlessness.’

     24 Everyone then who hears these words of mine, and does them, will be like a wise person who built their house on the rock. 25 And when the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, it didn’t fall, because it had been founded and built upon the rock.

     26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and doesn’t do them will be like a foolish person who builds their house on sand. 27 And the rain falls, and the floods come, and the winds blow and beat against that house, and it falls, and great is the fall of it.” {Surely? history and life as we presently know it - the - crucible, this slow gehenna burn and fade, that separates the chaff from off the kernal of wheat. The dis-ease as part of the cure ..and immunity. How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact?}

     28 When Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, 29 for he taught them as one with certainty [exousia - authority, power, right, jurisdiction, dominion] and not like the scribes.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 22:1-10

1 - And again Jesus talked to them in parables, saying, 2 “The kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son. 3 He sent his workers to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they wouldn’t come. (The so called important folk? I.e, the Pharisees, etc.) 4 So he sent other workers, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited that I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fatted calves, everything is ready! Come to the wedding feast! 5 But they paid no attention and went instead, one to his farm, another to his business, 6 while the rest seized his workers, insulted and mistreated them, and killed them! 7 The king was angry, and sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. 8 Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those who were  invited are not worthy. 9 Go therefore to the highways and and the byways and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ 10 And those workers went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. And so the wedding hall was filled with guests.

1 - Therefore, my brethren, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, continue to stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.

     2 I entreat Euodia and Syntyche to agree in the Lord. 3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women. They have labored side by side with me (Paul) in the gospel, together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be apparent to everyone. The Lord is at hand, 6 so don’t be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer, and by asking with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds anchored in Christ Jesus.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 16:13-20

13 - When Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who are the people saying the Son of Man is?” 14 They answered, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and some Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.” 15 He said, “And who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter said, “You are the Christ! The Son of the living God.” 17 And Jesus said to him, “You are blessed, Simon Bar-Jonah! For no person has revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven has. 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock (of being told by God) will I build my church! And the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give to you (to such, to those God causes to follow) the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and (it shall come to pass that) whatever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you may loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” 20 Then he told the disciples, “Tell no one, I am the Christ”.

1 - We who are strong in faith have an obligation to bear with the weaknesses of those weaker in faith, and not to please ourselves. 2 Instead let each of us please our neighbor for theiR good. To build up and encourage. 3 For Christ did not please himself! But as it’s written, “The insults/trespassing of those who insulted you fell upon me.” 4 For whatever was written in former days was all (pas) written for our instruction, that through the endurance and encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope [elpis - expectation, hope]. (The literal - “the expectation have”.) [All of what is written is for our instruction so-that through the steadfastness and encouragement of the scriptures we will have the (sure and strong) expectation.] 5 Indeed may the God of endurance [hupomonรฉ - endurance, steadfastness, patient waiting] and encouragement give to you, to be of one mind with one another, as it is in Christ Jesus - 6 that with one voice we may glorify the God and Father of our Lord. 7 Therefore be welcoming toward one another, even as Christ has welcomed us, for all is for the glorification of God.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 13:31-44

31 - He told the people another parable, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed taken and planted in a field. 32 It’s the smallest of all the seeds, but when it grows it is larger than all the other plants and becomes like a tree, so birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.” 33 And he told them another parable, “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and worked into three measures of meal, untiL it was all leavened.”

     34 All these things Jesus said to the crowds in parables. He didn’t say anything to them except by parable. 35 And this fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, “I will open my mouth in parables. I will speak what has been hidden since the foundation of the world.”

     36 Then he left the crowd of people and went back into the house. And his disciples said, “Explain to us the meaning of the parable of the weeds of the field.” 37 He said, “The one who sows the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed are children of the kingdom. The weeds are the children of evil, 39 and the enemy [echthros - hostile, enemy, someone openly hostile, having deep-rooted enmity.] who sowed [speirรณ - sowed, scattered] them is the devil [diabolos - in secular Greek means backbiter, an accuser, slanderer, i.e. making charges that bring down]. The harvest is at the end of the age, the reapers are angels, 40 and as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send forth his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom the causes of sin and the practicing of lawlessness, 42 and cast them into the fiery furnace. There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear. 44 For the kingdom of heaven is like treasure which is hidden in a field, and when someone finds it, they joyfully go and sell all they have. And they buy that field.”

                  ~ Romans 9:27-33 ~

27 - Isaiah cried out concerning Israel, “Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved [during this lifetime, for - “all Israel will be saved..” Ro.11:26]. 28 For the Lord will carry out his sentence - upon the earth - fully and without delay.” 29 And also as Isaiah prophesied, “If the LORD of hosts had not left us sons and daughters, we would have become like Sodom and Gomorrah.” 30 What then can we say? For Gentiles who didn’t pursue righteousness have attained righteousness (right standing) that is, righteousness that is by faith. 31 But Israel who pursued a law for righteousness, didn’t succeed. 32 Why? Because they didn’t pursue it by faith (as a gift given and received) but as though it was based on (their own) works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone. 33 Like it’s written - “Behold! I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, a rock of offense [skรกndalon - snare, a negative cause and effect, skรกndalon is the native rock rising up through the earth, which trips up the traveler]. (“Native rock” - the natural, the carnal nature.) But the one believing upon him will not be disappointed [kataischuno - shamed, disgraced, put to confusion].”

     “Will not be disappointed” ..kind of a big understatement..

 Gospel Verses ๐Ÿ“ฌ⭐️

    Matthew 25:14-23

    14 “Again, the Kingdom of Heaven can be illustrated by the story of a man going on a long trip. He called together his servants and entrusted his money to them while he was gone. 15 To one he gave five bags of silver, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. (Other versions, five talents, etc.) 16 He who had received the five went at once, traded with them, and made five more. 17 So also, the one with two, he gained two more. 18 But he who received the one went away and dug in the ground, and hid his master’s/employers money. 19 After a long time the mister returned and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ 22 The servant who had received the two talents also came and said, ‘Master, you entrusted me with two talents. See, I have gained two more.’ 23 His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’”

        Paul’s Letter to Titus

        ~ Titus 2:1-8 ~

1 - Titus, you must teach only what is correct. 2 Tell older men to be sober. Tell them to be men of good character, to use good judgment, and to be well-grounded in faith, love, and endurance. 3 Tell the older women to behave as those who love the Lord do. They must not gossip about others or be slaves of wine. They must teach what is good. 4 So they may encourage the young women to be lovers of their husbands and to love their children, 5 to be sensible and pure, to manage their households, to be kind, adapting to their own husband, so that the word of God will not be discredited. (Accused of causing trouble.)

    6 In the same way urge the young men to be self-controlled [sรณphroneรณ: to be of sound mind, temperate, having a sober outlook that reflects true balance]. 7 Always set a good example for them.
