    Mk.2:23-28 or Lk.6:1-5

23 One Sabbath he was going through the grain fields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. 24 But some Pharisees said to Jesus, “Look, why are they breaking the law by harvesting grain on the Sabbath?” 25 He answered, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry and (were) in need? 26 How during the days when Abiathar was high priest, he went into the house of God [a large, two room tent at the time, it was not legal for him to do] and broke the law by eating the sacred loaves of bread that only the priests are allowed to eat. And how he gave also to his companions? 27 The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath. 28 So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath."

Luke 6:1 - One Sabbath Jesus was going through the grain fields, and his disciples began to pick some heads of grain, rub them in their hands and eat the kernels. 2 Some of the Pharisees asked, “Why are you doing what is unlawful on the Sabbath?” 3 Jesus answered them, “Have you never read what David did when he and his companions were hungry? 4 Haven't you read how he went into the house of God, and ate the bread of the presence” [prรณthesis - a setting forth, show-bread, predetermination, purpose, from prรณ - before and tรญthฤ“mi - purposefully set forth – properly, providence – literally, a setting forth in advance for a specific purpose - "God's pre-thesis" ๐Ÿ˜ฎ His thesis! Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word of God”. The formula for success Jesus gave on the eve of his execution:

4 “..David ate the bread of the presence, and gave some of it to the men who were with him. He had no right to eat those loaves. Only the priests have that right." 5 Then he told them, “The Son of Man - is Lord of the Sabbath.”

       ~ Hebrews 10:30-34 ~

30 ..We know He who said, “It is mine to avenge [ekdikรฉsis - (a) a defense, avenging, vindication, vengeance, (b) full (complete) punishment, from ek - out from and to, and dรญkฤ“ - justice, judge, judgment which fully executes the core-values (standards) of the particular judge, i.e. extending from the inner-person of the judge to its out-come] I will re-pay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God! (If you’ve been doing evil! “Their works will fall on their own heads” - Ps.7:16.)

32 Think back on those early days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant conflict and suffering for you. 33 You were at times publicly insulted and suffered mistreatment [thlipsis - tribulation]. And at other times you were ready to join those who were being treated in this way. 34 You were grieved concerning those who were imprisoned (God will repay) and you endured with joy the confiscating of your possessions, because you know you have a possession [huparxis: subsistence, existence, property] in Heaven (reality, as ‘heaven’ is coming to Earth - Rev.21:1-5) which possession is (far) greater and does not pass away.
