Luke 5:12-16
12 Jesus came to a town where there was a man who had leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he fell down to the ground in front of Jesus and begged, "Lord, you have the power to make me well! If only you wanted to!" 13 Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. 14 Then Jesus said, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
15 But the news about Jesus spread all the more, and great crowds came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. 16 Jesus often would go to a solitary place where he could be alone and pray.

~ Hebrews 10:1-7 ~
1 - The old system of the law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship. 2 Otherwise, would they not have stopped being offered? For the worshipers would have been cleansed once for all, and would no longer have felt guilty for their sins. 3 But instead, those sacrifices actually reminded them of their sins year after year.
4 It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins [hamartia - missing the mark(s)]. 5 That is why when Christ came into the world, he said, “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me. 6 In burnt offerings and sin offerings you have taken no pleasure. 7 Then I said, 'Behold, I have come-- in the scroll of the book it is written of Me-- to do Your will, O God.'"
