           Mark 3:20-35

20 Then Jesus went home, and once again a crowd gathered around him, so that He and His disciples had not even time to eat. 21 When his family heard what was happening, they went to get him, for they said, “He is beside himself!”

22 But the teachers of the law who had come down from Jerusalem kept saying, “He has Beelzebul, the prince of demons!” And, “By the ruler of demons he casts out demons.” 23 Jesus told the people to gather around him. Then he spoke to them in riddles and said, “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 A kingdom divided by itself cannot stand. [Other versions -  If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot last. - A nation whose people fight each other won't last very long. - If a country divides itself into groups which fight each other, that country will fall apart.] 25 And a house divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. 26 And if Satan opposes himself” (instead of the nation or kingdom)  “and is divided, he cannot stand, but his end has come. 27 How can anyone break into the house of a strong man and steal his things, unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can make off with everything. 28 Truly I tell you, all hamartia/missing the mark/sins are forgiven the children of man, and every slander they utter, 29 whoever however, blaspheming (slandering) the Holy Spirit/Presence of God, has not forgiveness to the age (aion) but is guilty of aionios/aionion sin. [Aionios is the adjective of aion/age, so logically - should mean agelong or agelasting.] 30 He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.” (And it was God’s Spirit/Presence that was the cause and doer of all which Jesus was doing.)

31 Jesus' mother and brothers came and sent a message for him to come out to them. 32 And the crowd sitting around him said, "Your mother and brothers and sisters are outside and want to see you." 33 And answering them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers and sisters? 34 Then he looked at those seated in a circle around him and said, “Here are my mother and my brothers and sisters! 35 Anyone who does God’s will is my brother and sister and mother.” (And no doubt, as a good Jewish son he then went out to see them.πŸ™‚)

           ~ Hebrews 12:11-14 ~

11 - (Let’s face it.) No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces good and peace producing fruit, for those trained by it. 12 Therefore strengthen your limp hands and weak knees! 13 And make straight paths for your feet! So what is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.

14 Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one can see the Lord.
