 • Ephesians 6:4-9  Luke 16:16-31 and separately Rev.20:1-6

            ☀️ Ephesians 6:4-9

4 - Fathers, don’t be the kind of parent your children will hate and be angry toward! But do bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the LORD.

     5 Bondservants [working off a borrowing of money or land usage] work for and serve your earthly masters with respect. With a sincere heart, as you would for Christ, 6 not as a people pleaser, in phoniness, but as true servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart. 7 Rendering service with good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, they’ll receive back from the Lord, whether one is a bondservant or is free. 9 And misters, do the same to them, don’t be threatening and intimidating. Know that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and with him there’s no partiality.

            πŸŒ™ Luke 16:16-31

16 - Answering the Pharisees, Jesus said, “The Law and the Prophets were until John. But since then, the good news of the kingdom of God is proclaimed, and all [pas - every, the whole, all] press in. 17 But it’s easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one stroke of the pen of the law to fail”.     18 “A man who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and a man who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery.”

     {Following the Law - first contract - greatLy benefits! But isn’t what delivers out from death/hades/gone. “The wage/result of hamartia - missing the mark, is death” Romans 6:23. Because God iS Life and “is perfect” Mt.5:48. And no option to stray in Eden and we’d be an ant farm.”}

     19 Jesus told a story, a parable, “There was a rich man who was clothed in purple and fine linen. And every day he feasted extravagantly. 20 Yet all the while at his gate lay a poor man named Lazarus, who even was covered with sores from being malnourished. 21 He thought if only he could be fed with what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores, 22 until the poor man died, and was carried {past millennia?} by the angels to Abraham's bosom. {The Light.}

     And the rich man also, died and was buried. 23 And being in torment in hades. {Not in the Light? In the inner, outside of the Light, darkness, gnashing of teeth.} He looked and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side!

     24 And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water and cool my dry, parched tongue, for I’m in anguish in this fiery torment.’” {Jn.12:32, Jesus “will draw all” and so the neglectful rich man who let Lazarus die at his gate, is sure to begin to progress toward the weeping.. beating self up “with many stripes”.. heartfelt remorse.. until perceiving Christ Crucified, strong enough to appease eveRy conscience, needed because imperfection is an abyss of potential. And we can only trick the psyche for so long.}

     25 “But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that you in your lifetime received good things, and Lazarus bad things. But now he’s comforted, and you’re in anguish. 26 And besides all this, between us and you is a great gulf {mortal to having “put on immortality/perfection”} in order that those who would pass from here to you can’t, and none may cross from there to us.’ 27 And the (formerly) rich man said, ‘Then I beg you, father, send him to my father's house, 28 for I have five brothers, so he may warn them, lest they also come into this place [topos - location, region, opportunity, figuratively condition] of torment.’

     29 But Abraham said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them.’ 30 And he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent [matanoeo - think better and turn].’ 31 He said to him, ‘If they don’t listen to Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.’”
