            ☀️ A.M. Titus 1:1-9

1 - From Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus, I’m writing for the well being of the faith, to keep intact the knowledge of the truth, which accords with godliness. 2 And is in expectation of enduring Life, which God - who never lies - promised before the ages began.

     3 And at the proper time, has brought to light and made known, his message through the proclamation with which I’ve been entrusted by the command of God our Savior —

     4 To Titus, my true child in this common faith:

Grace and peace from God the Father, and Christ Jesus our Savior.

     5 This is why I left you in Crete, so you might put what remains to be done in order, and appoint elders in every town as I laid out, 6 those who are above reproach, the husband of one wife. His children are believers and not open to the charge of debauchery or unruly and rebellious. 7 For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant, or quick-tempered, or a drunkard, or violent, or greedy for gain, 8 but must be hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined.

     9 And he must hold firm to the trustworthy message as taught, so he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to correct those who contradict it.

45 - “Who then” Jesus said, “is a wise and faithful servant? Whose master has set over his household, to give out food at the proper time? 46 Blessed are the servants the master finds so doing when he returns.

     47 Truly, I tell you, he’ll set them over all he has. 48 But if a wicked servant, says in his heart, ‘the master is delayed,’ 49 and begins to beat up on his fellow servants” {including with words?} “and eats and drinks with drunkards.” {His communion is with the confused, the world, its ideas and value system.} 50 “The master of that servant will come on a day not expected, and at an hour they don’t know.

     51 They’ll be strayed and their place [meros - part, portion, share, role?] will be with the hypocrites.” {And naturally} “There’ll be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

     {Mt.13:30 as Rev.16:14-15-16 ! And (or) Mt.25:1-13(10) - The three mentions of lake of fire are at huge, fiery events - the initiaL (inneR) conditions of - some - of those who rise “still in their imperfection/hamartia - missing the mark” in the “2nd resurrection” (which is strongly suggested by the first one being called “first”) are portrayed in the rich man and Lazarus parable, and in the - outside-of-the vision narrative of Revelation 22.}
