GospeL Verses ~ John 7:10-24 ~

10 - Then after his brothers had gone up to the feast of Tabernacles (a weeklong feast/sacred and holy time) he also went, but privately. 11 The people were looking for him and saying, “Where is he?” 12 And there was much talk about him among them. Some said, “He is a good man,” but others said, “No, he is leading the people astray.” 13 Yet for fear of the leaders no one openly spoke about him.

14 At about the middle of the feast, Jesus went into the temple and was teaching. 15 The leaders wondered, saying, “How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?” 16 So Jesus answered them, “My teaching is not mine, but it’s his who sent me. 17 If anyone's will is to do God's will, they’ll know whether the teaching is from God - or whether I am speaking on my own authority. 18 The one who speaks on his own authority seeks his own renown. But the one who seeks the glory of him who sent him is true, and in him there’s no falsehood. 19 Has not Moses given you the law? Yet you don’t keep the law. Why do you seek to kill me?” 20 Then the crowd answered him, “You have a demon! Who is seeking to kill you?” 21 Jesus answered, “I did one work, and you all wonder about it. 22 Yet the law of Moses gave you circumcision, and you circumcise a man on the Sabbath. 23 If that work can be done so the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry at me because on the Sabbath I made a man's whole body well? 24 Don’t judge by appearance, but judge with righteous (and true) judgment.”

                  ~ Colossians 1:21-29 ~

21 - And you who were once estranged and hostile in mind, and acting out, 22 he has now reconciled by his suffering and death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before God, 23 if indeed you continue in the faith, being steadfast and stable in it, not shifting from the hope [elpis - expectation] of the gospel/news that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister. 24 I rejoice in my sufferings for the Lord’s church, 25 of which I became a minister according to the calling from God that was given to me, to make the word of God fully known, 26 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed. 27 God chose to make known how great among the nations are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which mystery is Christ in you! The hope of glory. 28 It’s him we proclaim, warning all and teaching all, with all wisdom, that we may present all as mature in Christ. 29 For this I toil, according to his energy working in me in power.

         John 17:12-18:2

(Jesus continues his prayer.) 12 “While I was with them, I kept them in your name, which you have given me. I’ve guarded them, and not one was lost except the son of destruction (lost from following, not as in ‘eternally damned’ as Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, God being “savior of all” 1Tim.4:10; and this so) that the Scripture would be fulfilled. 13 Now I am coming to you, and these things I’ve spoken in the world so they may have my fullness of joy completed in them. 14 I’ve given them your word, and the world has hated them [miseo - ranging from esteem less to detest] because, they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I don’t ask that you take them out of the world, but that you would keep them from evil. 16 They are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify (purify and bless) them by the truth, your word [logos - reasoning expressed in words] is Truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, so have I sent them.19 It’s for them that I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified in the Truth. 20 But not for these only do I pray, but for all those who will believe because of their words. 21 That all might be one as you Father are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, that the world will believe that you have sent me. 22 And the glory you give me, I have also given to them, so that they  will be one as we are. 23 I in them and you in me, that they may be perfected in unity, so the world will know you sent me and love them even as you love me. 24 Father, those that you have given me, I pray they may be with me, where I am, to see the glory you gave me because you loved me before the foundation of the world. 25 Righteous Father, though the world doesn’t know you, I know you, and they know that you sent me. 26 I have made known to them your name [onoma - name, authority, cause] and will make it known, so that the love with which you love me will be in them, and I in them.” 18:1 When he had finished praying, Jesus crossed the Kidron Valley with his disciples where there was a garden, which he and his disciples entered. 2 But Judas, the betrayer, knew the place, as Jesus had often gone there with his disciples.

   ~ 1 Corinthians 11:1-10 ~

1 - Imitate me, as I imitate Christ. 2 I’m very glad you always keep me in your thoughts, and that you’re following the teachings which I passed on to you. 3 Christ is the head of every man, and the man now is the head of woman, and God is the head of Christ. 4 So a man who prays or proclaims God's message in public worship with his head covered disgraces Christ. (Cultural matters.) 5 But a woman who prays or prophesies without something on her head brings shame to her head, and may as well shave her head. 6 A woman should wear something on her head. It is unacceptable for a woman to shave her head or cut her hair. In the same way she should wear something on her head. 7 A man shouldn’t wear anything on his head when he is  worshiping, for man is made in God’s image and reflects God’s glory. And woman reflects man’s glory. 8 For man was not made from woman, but the woman from man. 9 Neither was man created through woman, but woman through man. 10 A wife should have a token of her stature and also modesty upon her head, because of angelic propriety. (Considered public propriety at the time?)

          Luke 9:46-50

46 An argument started among the disciples as to which of them would be the greatest. 47 Jesus, knowing their thoughts, brought a little child to his side. 48 And said to them, “Whoever welcomes this little child in my name welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes the one who sent me. For it is the one who is (considers their self) least among you, who is the greatest.” 49 John said to Jesus, “Lord, we saw someone using your name to cast out demons, but we told him to stop because he isn’t one of us. 50 “Don’t stop him,” Jesus said, “for whoever is not against you is for you.”

1 - From the elder (John) to my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth. 2 Our beloved, I pray for you that you will prosper in all things and be well, just as your soul prospers. 3 Some of the traveling teachers recently returned and made me very happy by telling me about your faithfulness and that you are walking in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than this! To hear that my children (in the faith) are walking in the truth. 5 And dear friend, you are being faithful to God when you care for the traveling teachers who pass through, even though they are strangers to you. 6 They have told the church here of your loving friendship. Please continue providing for such teachers in that manner, for it pleases God. 7 When they left to tell others about the Lord, they decided not to accept help from anyone who wasn't a follower. (To be blameless?) 8 We must support people like them, so we can be fellow workers in what they are doing to spread the truth.

𝓓aily 𝓖ospel \/erses ✨

          Mark 1:21-34

21 Jesus and his disciples came to the town of Capernaum, and on the next Sabbath Jesus went to the synagogue and began to teach. 22 Everyone was amazed at his teaching, for taught with authority, and not like the scribes of the Law of Moses. 23 Suddenly, a man in the synagogue who was possessed by an evil spirit cried out, 24 “What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are! The Holy One of God!”

25 But Jesus rebuked the spirit, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him.” 26 And the impure spirit shook the man and came out of him with a shriek. 27 The people were all amazed, and questioned among themselves, saying, "What is this new teaching? With authority He commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey Him!" 28 News about him spread quickly over the whole region of Galilee.

29 As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon (Peter) and his brother Andrew. 30 Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a fever, and they immediately spoke to Jesus about her. 31 So he went to her bedside, took her by the hand, and helped her sit up. Then the fever left her, and she prepared a meal for them.

32 That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. 33 And the whole town was gathered together at the door. 34 Jesus healed many who were sick with all kinds of diseases and drove out many demons. He would not let the demons say anything, because they knew who he was. (Which would have been so dramatic, those of the pharisee and sadducee parties would have plotted against him even sooner and more quickly?) (How do demons speak forth into this world? Using human voices, of human hosts. After Christ, in ‘Christendom’ most, but not all, demonic influence is oppression, slander, deception, threats..? But not where ‘old gods’ hold sway. Paul wrote the gods the nations worshipped and followed, were demons, 1Cor.10:20, a quote of Deut.32:17 - the hebrew word being “shed” - “probably demon.. phonetic - shade - loan-word from Assyrian Ε‘Γͺdu, a protecting spirit, especially of bull-colossus, from shuwd - a doemon (as malignant) -- devil.” And the greek word in 1 Corinthians is “daimonion - an evil spirit, a demon”.

           ~ Hebrews 9:11-14 ~

11 - When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands and is not part of this created world. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption [lutrΓ³sis: a ransoming, a redemption, liberation, deliverance, release]. (Psalm 51:16 says - “You do not desire a sacrifice, or I would offer one. You do not want a burnt offering.” So why “blood”? NoT to appease an angry god! An ancient satanic lie foisted on the nations. Of which Abraham was called out of. Just why is the - appease a god’s wrath - so received in the human psyche? Is it fear? Or is it a feeling of guilt? ..That makes us fear. We know we are flawed and have erred (screwed up) in many ways. Unless we feel self righteous, which is another and bigger problem! ..So what is appeased by the sacrifice system?)

13 According to the Law of Moses, erring makes one unclean and not fit to worship God. Yet they are considered clean, if they are sprinkled with the blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a sacrificed calf. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from our sinful deeds so-that-we-can worship the living God. (Who is Love and Life.⛲️ And High King of the coming Kingdom, a paradise/perfection - this twilight zone contrast serves a great purpose.)

𝓓aily 𝓖ospel \/erses ✨

         John 2:1-12

1 - The next day there was a wedding celebration in the village of Cana in Galilee, and Jesus’ mother was there, 2 along with Jesus and his disciples, who were also called (invited). 3 When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no wine.” 4 Jesus said to her, "Why did you come to me? My time has not yet come." 5 But his mother told the servants/workers, “Do whatever he tells you to.”

6 Standing nearby were six stone water jars, used for Jewish ceremonial washing. Each could hold twenty to thirty gallons. 7 Jesus told them to fill them to the top with water. Then after the jars had been filled, 8 he told them to draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet. And so they did, 9 and when the master of ceremonies tasted the water that was now wine, not knowing where it had come from (though, of course, the servants knew), he called the bridegroom over. 10 “A host always serves the best wine first,” he said. “Then, when everyone has had a lot to drink, he brings out the less expensive wine. But you have kept the best wine until last!” ( That’s at least 120 gallons of very good wine.)

           ~ Hebrews 8:1-10 ~

1 -σ €  What I (likely Apollo) mean is we have a high priest who sits at the right side of God's great throne in heaven. 2 A minister of the sacred, in the tabernacle (way) established by God and not by man. 3 Since all priests must offer gifts and sacrifices, Christ also needed to have something to offer. 4 If he were here on earth, he would not be a priest at all, because here the Law appoints other priests to offer sacrifices. 5 The work they do as priests is really only a copy and a shadow of what the real thing. It is the same as it was with Moses. When he was about to build the sacred tabernacle/tent, God told him, "Be sure to make everything according to the pattern you were shown on the mountain." 6 Jesus has been given a priestly work that is superior to the Levitical priests' work. He also brings a better promise from God that is based on better guarantees. 7 For if there had been nothing wrong with the first covenant, there would be no need for a second. 8 But the Lord finding fault with the people (making it obvious?)  said, "I tell you the time will come, when I will make a new agreement with the people of Israel and the people of Judah. 9 This covenant will not be like the one I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand and led them out of slavery from the land of Egypt, because they did not remain in my covenant/agreement, and so I  disregarded [ameleΓ³ - to be careless of] them”. 10 For this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they will be my people. (Rev.7:9,4, Rev.21:5)

 — Ephesians 2:12 says - “Remember (non-Israelites) you were without Christ, and were aliens from the commonwealth of Israel.. and from the promises..” Meaning believers are now part of “the commonwealth of Israel” - are part of Israel — those of  Rev.7:4 are included in 7:9. He is writing his will (and Truth) on the hearts and minds of humanity (of a remnant now, the rest during the “aionion correction/kolasin” - Jn.5:28-29, Mt.25:46.)
