04-06 - Eph-6 Lk-17

N.Testament & Prophecy Advanced CU Study, verses paraphrased  [ ] references { } thots

 • Ephesians 6:19-24  Luke 17:11-19

            ☀️ Ephesians 6:19-24

19 - Pray also for me, that words may be given to me. That they come easily to mind and are readily spoken. So I remain bold to proclaim the mystery of the gospel! 20 The mystery for which I’m an ambassador in chains! That I may declare it boldly, as I ought to.

    21 And so you may know how I am and what I’m doing, Tychicus our beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord will tell you everything. 22 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, that you may know how we are, and that he may encourage your hearts.

     23 Peace be to you all, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus. 24 Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love imperishable.

            πŸŒ™ Luke 17:11-19

11 - As Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem, he passed between Samaria and Galilee, 12 and as he was entering a village, he was met by ten lepers, who stood at a distance 13 and cried out, “Jesus! Master! Have mercy on us!” {There he is! It’s our chance! We mustn’t miss it!} 14 When he saw them he told them to go and show themselves to the priests, and as they went, they were healed.

     15 Then one of them, a Samaritan, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice. 16 And he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. 17 And Jesus said, “Wasn’t it ten who were cleansed? Where are the nine? 18 Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” 19 And he said to the man, “Rise up and go your way, your faith has made you well.” {We’re all foreigners and lepers and we will be very thankful, and fully realize how profoundly and totally blessed we are.}

MARK 1 40-45

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

     07/11 - GospeL Verses

40 - Soon a leper came, imploring him, and kneeling said, “If you will, you can make me clean.” 41 Moved with sympathy, he stretched out his hand and touching him, said, “I will. Be clean.”

     42 And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made whole. 43 And Jesus sent him on his way, 44 and said, “See you say nothing to anyone, but instead go and show yourself to the priest and make an offering for your cleansing. What Moses commanded, for a proof to them.” 45 But the man went out and for excitement spoke freely of it, spreading the news. So much so Jesus could no longer openly enter a town, but stayed outside them, in lonely places, and people were coming to him from every quarter.
