GospeL Verses ~ Mark 4:35-41
35 - Later that day, when evening had come, he said to the twelve, “Let’s go across to the other side.” 36 So leaving the crowd, they set off, and other boats were with them. 37 Soon a great windstorm arose, and the waves were breaking up into the boat, so that the boat was taking on water. 38 But Jesus was asleep on the cushion that’s in the stern. And they woke him and said, “Teacher! Don’t you care that we’re perishing!?” 39 Then he awoke and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still.” And the wind stopped and there was a great calm. 40 He said to them, “Why were you afraid? Have you no faith?” 41 And they were filled with great wonder and said to one another, “Who is this? That even the wind and the waves obey him?”π€

(In the Order Believed Written)
~ Hebrews 13:8-14 ~
8 - Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. 9 So don’t be led astray by different and strange teachings, for what’s good for the heart is to be strengthened by grace - not by foods (what to eat and what not to eat) which does not benefit those devoted to such things. 10 We have an altar from which those who serve in the tent have no right to partake. [“Serve in the tent” - the wilderness temple, all such is an illustration of spiritual reality, temple and holy days, etc.] 11 For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy place, by the high priest, as a sacrifice for sin, are burned outside the camp. 12 So Jesus also suffered outside the gate (of the city wall) in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. (The crucifixion is a strong enough image, and truth, as to be able to reach and convince even the greatest and cruelest of sinners and able to pierce the most hard hearts.) 13 Therefore let us go to him outside the camp (outside societal acceptance and approval - I read that in a commentary) and bear the reproach he endured. 14 For here we have no lasting city (world) but we seek (await) the one that is to come.
