GospeL Verses ~ Luke 8:19-25
19 - Jesus’ mother and brothers came looking for him, but they couldn’t get to him because of the crowd. 20 So some there told him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside, wanting to see you.” 21 But he answered, “My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and do it.”
22 On another day he got into a boat with his disciples, and said, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” So they set out, 23 and as they sailed he fell asleep. But soon a windstorm bore down upon them, the boat was filling with water and they were in danger. 24 So they woke him, saying, “Master! We’re perishing!” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and the raging waves, and then all was a calm. 25 He said to them, “Where is your faith?” And they wondered with fear and marveled, saying to one another, “Who then is this? That he commands wind and sea, and they obey him?”

~ Hebrews 13:15-25 ~
15 - Through him then let us throughout all things, offer up a sacrifice “of” praise (a note for prophecy, esp. Dn.12:11) to God, that is, the fruit of lips that speak [homologeรณ - speak the same, agree upon] the name [onoma - name, authority, cause] of him. (We humans can, and are prone to, making idols of anything.. the law, his name, the sabbath.. leaders, teachings, doctrines, our own ‘knowledge’.. but it is Christ Crucified/the cross of Christ, that works and will bring us to the goal of being like him, finalized for us at his return.)
16 Don’t neglect to do good (in deeds and attitude) and to share what you have. For such sacrifices are pleasing to God. 17 Obey those logos (scripturally/on target) leading you, for they are keeping watch over your souls [psyxแธ - from psyxล - to breathe, wind, blow which is the root of the English words psyche, psychology, soul, psyche, a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality]. Let them do so with joy and not with groaning, for that would not be a plus for you.
18 Pray for us (leading) for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves well (with Truth) toward all. 19 Pray all the more earnestly in order that I may be restored to you the sooner.
20 Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the very blood of the eternal covenant (“by blood covenant eternal” by the sealed in(?) blood forever covenant of promises) 21 equip you with all good that you may do his will. He working in us, that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. 22 I encourage you, to bear with my words of exhortation [paraklรฉsis - a calling to one's aid, i.e. encouragement, comfort] for I have written to you briefly. (Lol.) 23 You know our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I too shall see you if he comes soon. 24 Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who are in Italy send you greetings. 25 Grace be with all of you.
