GospeL Verses ~ Luke 11:1-4

1 - One day Jesus was in a certain place, and he was praying. When he was done, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples.” 2 And so Jesus said, “When you pray, say, ‘Father, hallowed be your name, and may your kingdom come! 3 Give us each day our daily bread, 4 and forgive us our sins [hamartia - missing the mark] (trespasses) as we forgive those who are indebted to [opheiló] (trespassed against) us. And lead us not into temptation’” [peirasmos -  test, trial, temptation].

                  ~ Ephesians 4:1-10 ~

1 - I therefore (Paul) a captive for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. 2 With humility and gentleness. With patience and bearing with one another in love. 3 Eager to maintain the bond of the Spirit in the unity of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit. Just as you were called to the one hope [elpis - expectation, hope, expectation of what is sure to happen] that belongs to this call. 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of us all, who is over all, and through all, and in all. 7 But grace was given to each one of us according to the measure of the gift of Christ. 8 That’s why it says “When he ascended on high he took captive captivity, and gave gifts to men [anthropois - man, men, “relates to both genders”]. 9 In saying, “He ascended,” what does it mean but that he had also descended to the earth, to the lower part [meros - a part, share, portion]. (Translators chose/manufactured this as “regions” lower regions of earth. Whereas the lower part of earth is still “sheol” Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 “where there is no thought, doing nor knowing”. And is where he descended. It’s possible he preached to Nephilim (supposed angel/human hybrids) in ‘lower regions’. But I think 1Peter’s “he preached to those who were disobedient while the ark was being built” is answered by 2Peter’s “Noah was a preacher of righteousness”. I.e. “went to them via the Spirit, while the ark was being built”. If there’s a massive hell or holding cell for the unsaved dead - not yet saved Jn.12:32, etc, etc - why would Jesus only preach to they who perished in the flood.. whose “every thought” (thus action) “was only evil” - I only mention that last thought for those who accuse God concerning the flood (when mankind was upon the brink of self destruction?) As sheol being still sheol outside of myth and legend - “the place of the dead” - where Jesus was “for three days and nights” is the grave, the lower part of earth and of our existence. The wage/result of sin is?? Surely the next thing they know will be “resurrection into the judgment” the “aionion kolasis / eonian correction” - which of course human translators chose the most extreme possible usage of correction and changed aion/eon to forever. Sigh. As neverending punishment. In the natural we have been heartless snd cruel in our perceptions? Note: the 3 mentions of lake of fire are at huge fiery events, thus is earthly prophecy like any other? First mention manmade, last mention being the way death dies, Rev.21:5, 2Pet.3:11-12.)

     10 He who descended, is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things [pas -all, every — all]. (Translators changed “fill ALL” to fill all things. Whenever we read “all things” it likely is originally “pas” - “all”.)

GospeL Verses ~ John 10:22-32

22 - It was the Feast of Dedication. [The temple was “desolated” by Antiochus, but not razed and ruined. It was repaired, renewed and dedicated by Judas Maccabee, written of in the “Apocrypha”, 2Ma 2:23, 10:6-8, 1Ma 4:52,58, and Josephus also wrote of it.]

     And it being winter, 23 Jesus was walking in Solomon’s porch of the temple. 24 So the leaders and some people gathered around him and said, “How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” 25 Jesus answered, “I told you, and you don’t believe. The works I do in my Father's name bear witness of me. 26 But you don’t believe me because you’re not from among my sheep. 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them unfading life, and they will not perish, and no one can snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to remove them out of the Father's hand. 30 I and the Father are one.” 31 At that the leaders picked up stones again to stone him. 32 But Jesus said, “I have shown you many good works from the Father. For which of them do you wish to stone me?” (Even a married couple are called “one”! And Jesus never hid the fact, but said “the Father is greater than I” Jn.14:28.)

                  ~ Ephesians 2:17-3:7

17 - And he (the Son) came and preached peace to you who were far off (gentiles/the nations) and peace to those who were near (Israel). 18 For through him we all have access in [en - in, on, at, by, with] one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens! But you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 which is built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the foundation stone [cornerstone, main stone] 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a temple in (and of) the Lord. 22 In him also, you are being built together into a dwelling place for God by His Spirit. 3 For this reason I, Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus on behalf of you Gentiles (nonHebrews) — 2 assuming that you have heard of the administering of God's grace to you, that was given to me. 3 How the mystery was made known to me by revelation, which I have briefly written. 4 When you read this, you can understand my insight into the mystery which is Christ, 5 which was not made known to the children of men in other generations as it has now been revealed by His Spirit to his apostles and prophets. 6 This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs. They are members of the same body. They are sharers of this promise - which is in Jesus - which is delivered through this gospel message. 7 And of this good news I was made a minister/administrator/steward according to the gift of God's grace, which was appointed to me by the working of his power.

GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 5:13-26

Jesus continues, 13 - “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt loses its flavor, how can its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under foot. 14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, so it will give light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine (his light, love) so others may see and give glory to your Father who is in heaven. 17 “Don’t think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, I haven’t come to abolish them, but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one dot or one crossing of the T will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness abounds above and greater than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall not enter the kingdom of heaven. 21 “You’ve heard it said, ‘You shall not murder, and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ 22 But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment. Whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council/court, and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the gehenna of fire [Gêhinnōm - the valley of Hinnom, symbolic of fiery judgment, earthly, it’s a running with the verses to stretch it out to something afterlife, let alone forever afterlife. It’s not what the verse actually says. So at best, or worst, it’s a theory.] 23 So if you are offering your gift at the altar and then remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there at the altar and go and be first reconciled to your brother, and then go and offer your gift. 25 And come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. 26 Truly, I say to you, you will not get out - until - you have paid the last penny. 24 - So God gave them up in the wrong desires of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of theirselves among theirselves, 25 because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! (And the source of blessing.) Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature, 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. 28 And since they (humanity) did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to (whatever! to) a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. (Wars, thefts, murders, etc.etc.) 29 They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, greed, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, backbiters, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 Though they know God's righteous decree that those who practice such things have merited death, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them. (God is Life, surely? And he “is perfect” - Mt.5:48 - so imperfect naturally results in/merits the opposite of life. But how to avoid? Creation as a forever ant farm?)
