WEEKLY FROM the REVELATION VISION 8:1-6

1 - When the Lamb broke the seventh seal on the scroll, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.

2 Then I (disciple John) saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. 3 Then another angel with a gold incense burner came and stood at the altar. And a great amount of incense was given to him to mix with the prayers of God’s people as an offering on the golden altar before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, together with the prayers of God’s people, went up before God from the altar.

5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar, and hurled it upon the earth! And there was peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake. (Interruption in the Rev.7:1,3’s holding back any crises of “the winds” from harming earth, trees or seas.) 6 And the seven angels with the seven trumpets prepared to sound them. (Which are the seventh seal.)

           Mark 1:1-8

1 - This is the beginning of the good news of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. 2 It began just as God had said in the book written by Isaiah the prophet, "I am sending my messenger to get the way ready. He will go before you (before the Son) 3 a voice of one calling in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord! Make straight paths for him.’” 4 And so John the Baptist appeared in the wilderness, baptizing and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins [hamartia - missing the mark]. 5 All of Judea, including all the people of Jerusalem, went out to see and hear John confessing [exomologeรณ - “acknowledging”] their hamartia - “missing the mark” and John baptized them in the Jordan River.

6 John wore clothing made of camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist, and he ate locusts and wild honey. 7 And this was his message, “After me comes the one more powerful than I! The straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to even stoop down and unlace! 8 I baptize you with water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit!” (With God’s very Spirit/Presence!)

           ~ Hebrews 7:4-10 ~

4 Consider then how great this Melchizedek [the example of Christ] was. Even Abraham - the patriarch - knew how great, and gave him a tenth of what he had taken from his battle (with “the kings” to rescue his nephew Lot from capture in a war of kings/nations who were revolting against Mesopotamian rule).

5 Moses’ law requires the descendants of Levi, who become priests, to collect a tenth/tithe from their people, who also are descended from Abraham. 6 But Melchizedek, who was not a descendant of the later Levi, collected a tenth from, and blessed Abraham, the one God gave his promise to! 7 Everyone agrees a person who gives a blessing is greater than the one who receives the blessing.

8 And the priests of the tribe of Levi, who collect tithes, are men who die. So Melchizedek is greater than they are, because it is as though he lives on. [Having no record of birth or death, so seeming, in a sense, to be immortal. But which Abraham, original patriarch, met this ancient priest of God/Yhvh on the road (of life) after rescuing Lot.] And so again, one might even say that Levi (descendant of Abraham and original head of one of the “twelve tribes”) who collects the tenth (as priest and civil servant) - paid the tenth to Melchizedek - through Abraham, 10 because Levi was born later into the offspring and family of Abraham - who paid a tithe to Melchizedek.

(Hebrews was likely written by “Apollo” known as quite a scholarly Israelite and an early believer, Acts 18:24-28.)

1 - It was now the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius, the Roman emperor. Pontius Pilate was governor over Judea. Herod Antipas was ruler over Galilee, his brother Philip was ruler over Iturea and Traconitis. Lysanias was ruler over Abilene. 2 Annas and Caiaphas were the high priests, when the word (message)  of God came to John the son of Zechariah in the wilderness. 3 Then John went from place to place on both sides of the Jordan River, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins. 4 Isaiah had spoken of John when he said, “He is a voice shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the LORD’s coming! Clear the road for him! 5 The valleys will be filled, and the mountains and hills made level! The crooked shall be made straight and the rough ways made smooth. 6 And all shall see the salvation of God.’”

19 We have this hope [ELPIS - expectation, trust, confidence] as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It reaches behind the curtain and into the most holy place. 20 Where Jesus entered on our behalf, as a high priest in the image of Melchizedek, as purposed aionion. 7:1 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the war with, and defeat of the kings, and blessed him. 2 Then Abraham gave him a tenth of everything he had. The meaning of the name Melchizedek is "King of Justice." But since Salem means "peace," he is also "King of Peace." 3 There is no record of his father or mother or any of his ancestors—no beginning or end to his life. He remains a priest forever [diรฉnekรฉs - carried through, continuous] in imitation of the Son of God.

Useful Things

๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“– Surely(?) one of the first useful things to understand about the bible, is how it has to communicate to every one, even the most cruel unto others sort of persons. Heartless, pitiless, right down to selling children for profit while the airwaves rail against yesterday’s crimes causing schism any way they can.

Do you have children? When you really want to put the ‘fear of God’ into them, you exagerrate. The written logos is a book of jewels, and riddles. Happy the one who loves riddles! And jewels. God (and Truth) hiding in plain sight all over the place, as is prophecy.

So the second thing that’s helpful to understand, is it’s a quest! To pick up the armor, to pick up the sword, and find the Truth! It’s not in the world. If we’re counting on someone else’s oil in their lamp.. someone else’s light, it won’t work. Rev.7:9,4, oh to be a truth virgin. There’s two ‘foreheads’? “Confusion” (mystery babble) or  the seal of God “knowing”. Yes it’s all written in the living logos, Jesus, and we’re being made into his likeness, some now, some later.. And it’s all written in the written logos as well.

Perhaps a third useful key is - lake of fire. I am completeLy convinced that lake of fire is no ‘place’. But is event. The 3 mentions are at huge fiery events, I could list the verses, but won’t right now.. Surely(?) it’s the split atom that becomes a lake. And everything else is totally fake. God’s ‘wrath’ is cause and effect.. The Revelation vision is written 3 times.. sorry I just had to throw that in.. What is the riddle of 13:13.. rearrange some numbers, 4915.. hello are we blind? Stretch a certain part of the verse out a bit.. or is it just the interpretation of the verse..

๐Ÿ•Š️☮️ have a good day!

WEEKLY BOOK OF ACTS 5:1-16

1 - Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 But they agreed to lie and keep some of the money for themselves. So when Ananias took the rest of the money to the apostles, 3 Peter asked, "Ananias, why did you let Satan fill you with the idea that you could lie to and deceive the Holy Spirit? You've held back some of the money you received for the land. 4 The property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished. And after selling it, the money was also yours. What made you think of doing such a thing? You have not lied to human beings but to God.” 5 As soon as Ananias heard this, he fell down dead! And all who heard about it feared. 6 Some young men came in and wrapped up his body and buried him. 7 About three hours later his wife also came in, unaware of what had happened. 8 Peter asked her, “Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?” “Yes,” she replied, “that was the price.” 9 So Peter said to her, "Why did you and your husband decide to put the Lord's Spirit to the test? The men who buried your husband are at the door right now, and they will carry you out too.” 10 Instantly, she fell to the floor and died. When the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 The whole church and all the others who heard of this feared greatly.

12 The apostles worked many miracles and wonders among the people. All of the Lord's followers often met in the part of the temple known as Solomon's Porch. 13 Nobody outside the group dared join them, even though the people spoke highly of them. 14 Yet more and more people believed and were brought to the Lord—crowds of both men and women. 15 As a result, people brought the sick into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by. 16 Crowds gathered also from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing their sick and those tormented by impure spirits, and all of them were healed.

                         ~*~

     Very Brief Outline of Acts:

Jesus returns to where he was with the Father before his advent/visit (his brief first one).

The Holy Spirit/Presence of God is poured out on the believers who were in Jerusalem on the late Spring holy day of Pentecost. Peter speaks, there are 3000 new believers that day.

The good news message spreads, Peter is invited and goes to a Roman’s house and all believe. The first record of non Hebrew believers (besides likely some on Pentecost).

Persecution breaks out.. jail. stoning. Pharisee Saul leads the persecution, but on his way to Damascus with papers for arrests, Jesus makes himself seen but is so bright Paul falls to the ground and is blinded. After two days he is healed and is a believer, and soon is called Paul. He wrote many (to most) of the New Testament letters, but spent a few years (it seems to me) exclusively listening to the Lord. He established many ‘churches’ in what’s called three missionary journeys, and met and worked with Mark and Luke, and quite a few others. (Luke wrote this Book of Acts.) His fourth journey is to Rome to trial as a prisoner. There’s a shipwreck on the way.. He wrote many of his letters while in prison and under ‘house’ arrest.

39 When Joseph and Mary had done everything required by the Law of the LORD, they returned to Galilee to their own town of Nazareth. 40 There the child grew up healthy and strong. He was filled with wisdom, and God’s grace was upon him.

41 Every year Jesus’ parents went to Jerusalem for the Passover festival. 42 And when he was twelve years old, they attended the festival as usual. 43 After Passover his parents left, but they did not know that Jesus had stayed on in the city. 44 Thinking he was in their company, they traveled on for a day. Then they began looking for him among their relatives and friends. 45 When they didn't find him, they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. 46 After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. 47 All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers. 48 His parents were astonished when they saw him, and his mother said to him, "Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been terribly worried trying to find you." 49 “Why were you looking for Me?” He asked. “Did you not know that I had to be in My Father’s house?” 50 But they didn’t understand what he meant. 51 So Jesus went back with them to Nazareth, where he was obedient to them. His mother treasured all these things in her heart. 52 And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

12 That you not become spiritually dull and indifferent. But will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of [dia - through, on account of, because of] their faith (believing) and patient endurance. [Dia - “a preposition – properly, across, to the other side, back-and-forth to go all the way through, successfully across, thoroughly, also commonly used as a prefix and lends the same idea, thoroughly,  literally, successfully, across to the other side, like dia-meter.”]

13 When God made his promise to Abraham, since there was no one greater for him to swear by, he swore by himself. [As he did recorded in Is.45:23, that “every tongue will swear allegiance to Him”!] 14 Saying (to Abraham), “I will surely bless you and multiply your descendants.” [Told him that when both Abraham and Sarah “were very on in years”.] 15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised. 16 People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument. 17 God also bound himself with an oath, so that those who receive the promise could be perfectly sure that he would never change his mind. 18 So God has given both his promise and his oath, unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope [elpis - expectation] that is set before us. (To be made “like Jesus” and thus “put on immortality”.)

         Matthew 2:13-23

13 After the wise men were gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Rise, take the child and his mother, and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you, for Herod is about to search for the child, to destroy him.” (Rev.12:4 - “The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child..” Chapter is an insert.) 14 And he rose and took the child and his mother by night and departed to Egypt, 15 where they stayed until Herod died. What the Lord had spoken through the prophet came true: "I have called my son out of Egypt." 16 Herod was furious when he realized that the wise men had outwitted him. He sent soldiers to kill all the boys in and around Bethlehem who were two years old and under, based on the wise men’s report of the star’s first appearance. (Why didn’t God prevent..? Why didn’t he prevent every war.. the world wars.. the genocides.. slavery since Babylon and Egypt.. Every death. every illness..? Once He endowed thinking and reasoning to angel and man, what exactly would be the point in canceling every less than good or perfect choice? Less chaos and mess to create a universe with no able to think and reason beings, or some sort of ant farm. But obviously, and thankfully, that is noT what the creator is after.)

17 Herod’s brutal action fulfilled what was prophesied through the prophet Jeremiah, 18 “A cry was heard in Ramah (where Rachel was buried not far from Bethlehem) — weeping and great mourning. Rachel weeps for her children, refusing to be comforted, for they are dead.” (It was fulfilled in Jeremiah’s age.. showing how prophecy often repeats.) 19 When Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt. 20 saying, “Arise, take the young child and his mother, and go to the land of Israel, for those who sought the young child’s life are dead.” 21 So Joseph rose and took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel. 22 But when he learned that the new ruler of Judea was Herod’s son Archelaus, he was afraid to go there. Then, after being warned in a dream, he left for the region of Galilee, 23 and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophet, that he would be called a Nazarene. [What prophet is not known.]

All Mankind Will Consider

The Psalms are prophetic, looking far into the future, and they see two things.. the ‘ends’ of two things. The greek is “tel” and means “end-aim”, the end-aims of “the way” of “faith”, and the end-aim of wickedness/deliberate evil. The final results of good, and the final results of evil.

Ps.64:6,7,8 - They make evil plans and say, "We'll commit a perfect crime. No one knows our thoughts." [Even though they broadcast them?] “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow”<-metaphor, man’s own arrow (the split atom will become a lake, other thoughts of it are totally fake) “suddenly shall they be wounded. He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin..”

But the forefather, David also wrote - “I heard God say two things, ‘I am powerful, and I am very kind” (Ps.62:11,12, ). [Kind - checed - favour.] “For you render to each according to their own works.”

Ps.64:9 - “All mankind shall fear (be in awe) and shall declare the work of God, for they shall wisely consider of his doing.” [Other versions - will declare the work of God, and consider what He has done — Then all mankind ..will tell about God’s work, for they will understand what he has done —     shall wisely consider of his doing.]

Psalm 64:4,5,9 - “I will always praise you! As long as I am living! I will sing joyful praises and be filled with excitement like a guest at a banquet! The” (made) “righteous shall be glad! And will shelter in Yhvh (the LORD, God). All the” (made) “upright in heart shall glory and rejoice in him.”

Isaiah 45:22 23 - “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth, for I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by oath, gone out from my mouth in righteousness, a word, and it turns not back” - it wiLL happen, it wiLL be - “that to me, does every knee bow and every tongue swear.” Is.61:7 - “..everlasting joy will be theirs.”

How do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact? For each and every one. I think there’s only one way - total herd immunity! From eveR straying from God who iS life and “is perfect” (Mt.5:48) so the result/wages of imperfect - greek hamartia, missing the mark - is? The opposite of life, fading, hades - no longer seen/gone. But the REMEDY was built in from the beginning/foundation.

21 On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him even before he was conceived. (After 8 days carnality will be circumcised from off of mankind. Lev.23:36, Jn.7:37)

22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, 23 as it is written in the law of the Lord: "Every first-born male is to be dedicated to the Lord." 24 And also to offer a sacrifice according to the law of the Lord, a pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons. 25 At that time there was a man in Jerusalem named Simeon. He was righteous and devout and was eagerly waiting for the Messiah to come and rescue Israel. The Holy Spirit was upon him 26 and had revealed to him that he would not die until he had seen the Lord’s Messiah. 27 That day the Spirit led him to the Temple. So when Mary and Joseph came to present the baby Jesus to the Lord as the law required, 28 Simeon was there. He took the child in his arms and praised God, saying, 29 "LORD, I am your servant, and now I can die in peace, because you have kept your promise to me.” [In translation, LORD is the Father, Lord is the Son.] 30 “For now my eyes have seen your salvation 31 which you have prepared for all people to see, 32 a light to reveal God to the nations, and an honor to your people Israel!” [Honor - dรณksa - usually translated glory, literally means - what evokes good opinion, i.e. has inherent, intrinsic worth.] 33 And his father and mother marveled at what was said about him. 34 Then Simeon blessed them, and he said to Mary, “This child is destined to cause many in Israel to fall, and many others to rise. He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. 35 So that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed, but it will be like a sword piercing your own heart.

36 And there was a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years, having lived with her husband seven years from when they were married, 37 and then was a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple complex, but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to the LORD, and spoke of the child to all those who were waiting for Jerusalem to be set free.

Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds and placing our faith in God. 2 Do we need further instruction about baptisms? The laying on of hands? The resurrection of the dead? And of aionion judgment? 3 And this will we do, if God permits. 4 Powerless we are to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit(/Presence of God), 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, 6 who then turn away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm, and also brings about criticism of the way.

         Matthew 2:1-12

1 - Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the reign of King Herod. About that time some wise men from eastern lands arrived in Jerusalem, asking, 2 “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” 3 King Herod was deeply disturbed when he heard this, as was all Jerusalem. 4 He called a meeting of the leaders, the priests and teachers of the religious law and asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem, as the prophet wrote,” they said. 6 “'Bethlehem in the land of Judah, you are by no means the least of the cities of Judah. For from you will come a leader who will guide my people Israel.'" 7 Then Herod called for a private meeting with the wise men, and he learned from them the time when the star first appeared. 8 Saying to them, "Go to Bethlehem and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, let me know. And I will go and worship him too."

9 After they had heard the king, they continued, and the star they had seen rising led them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10 And when they saw the star there, they rejoiced with great gladness. 11 And coming to the place they entered and saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. And gave him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. 12 Then having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another way.

10 God declared Jesus to be high priest, in the priestly order of Melchizedek. 11 Much more could be said about this subject. But it is hard to explain, and all are slow to understand. 12 By now you should be teachers. Instead, you still need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word. Like babies needing milk and not able to digest solid food. 13 Anyone who has to drink milk is still a child, without any experience in the matter of right and wrong and is unskilled in the word of righteousness. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses (common sense?)  exercised to discern good from evil(/not good).

There Is Every Reason For Peace And Joy

In the beginning (of us) God created the universe (complete but like a clock not yet running).. created the heavens and the earth.. The earth was enveloped in water like an embryo. He breathed into the earth and the waters, and there was Light [his spirit “hovered” - the word is “rachaph” - to grow soft, relax, move gently, also cherish, and brood]. And he separated light from dark, and the waters from on the earth from the waters around the earth, and it was sky (atmosphere) and day and night.

He gathered the waters, made dry earth and called it land and sea. Then from seed (embryos) made grow vegetation and flora.. And it was good.. With everything growing its own seed. He made lights be seen in the heavens for the night and the day.. and bestowed their places.

He filled the waters and skies with life.. And it was good. And all creatures of the land. Then God said “let us” (father and son, the son being the one and only straight out from God one) “make mankind in our likeness” able to think and reason.. And so came choice, a big tree (of delay) in the garden of life.. Now God iS life, so he witnesses and lives through all that occurs. The angels were pre-universe. And when there was ‘just’ Father and Son and the angels.. not that much to go astray about. So father waited.. And now rebel angels acting as accelerant. It’s six millennia to run its course.. with the remedy (the son in all and all in the son) built in from the beginning.. Then a seventh millennium as a rest from war, before the last gathering to war and its fiery final defeat.

During a last great millennium to set all things straight, with a great, in the light, review of all history.. Bound to be a bit intense.. But Jesus “draws all” and there will be closure for all. Gnashing of teeth for the worst of the worst.. but even that will become inner condemnation, gut wrenching remorse. Is anything else logical? For even their debt has been paid, heart and psyche fully appeased. The kingdom grows like widening ripples of a pond. Until is said “behold! I make all new” at the fiery, universal regenesis. And then shall “God tent [Tabernacle] with mankind.. the bear will graze with the cow, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.. Of the increase of peace (thus joy!) there will be no end.”

Just how do you create genuinely able to think and reason beings (anthropos and angelos) aNd keep paradise/perfection intact??Logically (root word logic๐Ÿค“) there are two options? Total Ant Farm, or Total Herd Immunity..(?)

*Tabernacle(s) - it’s all laid out, written in maNy ways.. Like Him, hiding in plain sight. (Oh what a surprise! So much in plain sight.) We just have to have ears.. Like having 360 degrees to the circle, and turning the dial to the one perfect degree. It doesn’t make life trouble free - not yet! But it sure does help! Lawlessness is growing, but so is peace and joy in the Truth.. The knowing the what, the how, the Who.. and the why. Why there is this stark, quite terrible at times, yet all important contrast. And what GREAT news it all is! That Life hAs to be Perfect. ‘Parable’ of the decomposing ‘apple’ and the “worm that does not quit”.

‘..Everything is dust in the wind..’ Everything not true that is.. All good is forever.

WEEKLY BOOK OF ACTS 4:23-37

23 On their release, Peter and John went back and told the others everything the chief priests and the leaders had said to them. 24 When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer, “O Sovereign LORD, Creator of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— 25 who by your Holy Spirit, and the mouth of Your servant David has said: ‘Why do the nations rage? And the people plot vain things? 26 The kings of earth prepare for battle. The leaders gather together against the LORD and against his Messiah’ [Ps.2:1-2]. 27 In fact, this has happened here in this very city! For Herod Antipas, Pontius Pilate the governor, the Gentiles, and the people of Israel were all united -  against Jesus, your holy servant whom you anointed - 28 to do whatever your hand and your plan had decided beforehand would happen. 29 And now, O LORD, hear their threats, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word. 30 Reach out your hand to heal, with wonders and miracles performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus."

31 After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness. [King James and New King James blended - And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together, and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.] 32 Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul, neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common. (This is noT state run Socialism where leaders control all resources. “If they do this” [crucify Him] “during a green leaf, what will they do during a dry leaf?” Lk.23:31)

33 With great power the apostles continued to give their testimony about the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. 34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles for distribution as anyone had need. 36 Joseph, a Levite from Cyprus (a future partner of Paul) whom the apostles called Barnabas (meaning Son of Encouragement), 37 sold a field he owned and brought the money to the apostles.

WEEKLY FROM the REVELATION VISION 7:1-17

1 - After these things I saw four angels standing upon the four corners (north, south, east, west) of earth, holding the four winds, that no wind would blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. (Imo, this is the winds of “Seal 6” - thermonuclear in 1945. But the seal is described as its total effects, first to very last, 6:12-17 ..when “the earth shakes to and fro” — If you haven’t guessed, I’m very much a literalist. BUT! Every literal has its metaphor, and.. every metaphor has its literal. This whole process from Adam to the (fiery) ReGenesis, logically - root word logos - is both individual and collective. Surely?

You might want to say the four winds, are winds of destruction. Surely not thermonuclear! Of course not. Man is very rational, and content with little and with the status quo. Surely they would never release such destructive winds.. I think the four is merely four because, well, where else are you going to station angels to hold winds back? If not at the four ‘corners’ of Earth?

2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. And he shouted to those four angels, who had been given power to harm land and sea, 3 “Wait! Don’t harm the land, or the sea, or the trees, until we have placed the seal of God on the foreheads of his servants!” (From the east.. like when Jesus returns/comes the second time.. This is obviously before then.) 4 And I heard how many were marked with the seal of God (a seal protects, seals) —144,000 were sealed from all the tribes of Israel:

Verses 5 through 8, lists the 12 tribes, 12,000 from each. 9 After this, I looked and I saw a great crowd - too many to count - from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands. (I believe - this - is metaphor. Yet also a preview of the future when ALL is said and done. The standing at the throne. Representing a step forward, a step up! The call to be closer to God.. Full of his praise! Knowing who he is. And how he is. A seal of clarity?

These verses are where we are now - the winds are still being held back, after the first release in 1945 - Rev.13:13. The verse pinpoints an office, not yet(?) an individual. And yes notice those numbers, 13:13. But take heart! We haven’t gotten to the last verses of the chapter. We’re in “his rest” remember? Paradise is coming. Perfection. It’s worth everything. And don’t forget this, God iS life. He lives through, suffers and experiences all things that ever occur. Yet he created thinking, reasoning beings, able to make choices, anyway! ..So in that crowd, also, is the 144,000 counted of earthly nation, Israel. (See Mt.23:39.)

10 And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” 11 And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living celestial creatures, and they fell upon their faces before the throne and worshipped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” (We ALL in heaven and Earth owe God everything!)

13 One of the elders asked me, "Do you know who these people are that are dressed in white robes? Do you know where they come from?" 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who come out of great tribulation having washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 They are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple, and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 No more shall they hunger or thirst. The heat of the sun will not harm them, nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd. He will lead them to springs of living (and fresh) waters. And God will wipe every tear from their eyes.”

8 There were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 And, lo! An angel of the Lord came to them. The glory of the Lord shone round about them, and (let me tell you) they were sore afraid.

10  But the angel said, “Don’t be afraid! I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people! 11 For there has been born to you today, in the city of David, a savior who is Messiah/Christ the Lord. 12 And this is the sign to you, to find a baby wrapped in (long strips of) cloth and lying in a phatnรฉ - manger, feeding-trough.” 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 “Glory to God in the highest! And on earth peace with man [anthropos, male and female made he them] and goodwill.”

15 When the angels went away from them back into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let's go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us of!” 16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger (and bed of hay). 17 After seeing him, the shepherds told everyone what had happened and what the angel had said to them about this child. (God reached, and reaching out to, the everyday folk.. before the kings.) 18 And all who heard it wondered at what they had heard. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had seen and heard, and for all that had been said.

5 In the same way, Christ did not take upon himself the honor of being a high priest. Instead, God said to him (so long ago - “he was with God from the beginning”/creation) "You are my Son. This very day I have begotten you." 6 Just as He says also in another place: "You are a priest to the age, according to the order of Melchizedek." (Throughout the entire.) 7 As a mortal man, he offered up prayers and appeals with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. (Ultimately his offering up of himself - submission. This was in the Gethsemane garden/olive grove, just prior to his arrest.) 8 Son though he was, even he learned obedience from what he suffered. 9 In this way, God qualified him as a - perfect - High Priest, and to all those obeying him, the origin of (the) rescue and remedy [sลtฤ“rรญa - from - sแน“zล - to save, rescue – salvation, deliverance, i.e. God's rescue which delivers out-of destruction and into safety]. 1 - In the Old Testament System/Example of the Bigger True System — Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. (Surely this is appeasement for and to the human psyche? And not to an angry god? “HE has subjected all to disobedience that he may have mercy upon all” Ro.11:32. NoT that this takes away at all from the fact of - appeasement. It - has - all - been - appeased. So “freely receive”.. Love God. We have to let ourselves love God, our father, who is Love (and is the Life force, spirit of life) and he “is perfect” Mt.5:48. He is of course intelligence - and the “I am” - that’s the name he gives himself. The highest of intelligence is unlimited Genius. We Can Trust. Him, and the how, what, when, and WHY, of everything it is he is doing.)

1 - Every high priest is selected from among the people. And is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God. To offer gifts and sacrifices for all our flaws, all our mistakes, all our wrongdoings.. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are unknowing, misguided, and wayward, because he also has weaknesses. 3 That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs. 4 And no one can become a high priest simply because they want to. They must be called by God for the work, just as Aaron was.

Weekly From the Prophets - Jonah

     Oldest Book of a Prophet

1 The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me.”

3 But Jonah ran away from the Lord ..found a ship ..and sailed for Tarshish to flee from the Lord. .. 4 Then the Lord sent a great wind

…7 Then the sailors said to each other, “Come, let us cast lots to find out who is responsible for this calamity.” 17 17 Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

2:1 From inside the fish Jonah prayed to the Lord his God. .. 10 And the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah onto dry land.

     Jonah Goes to Nineveh

3:1 Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: 2 “Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you.” 3 Jonah obeyed the word of the Lord and went to Nineveh. .. it took three days to go through it. 4 Jonah began by going a day’s journey into the city, proclaiming, “Forty more days and Nineveh will be overthrown.” 5 The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth. .. 10 When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and turned back what He had said. 4:1 But to Jonah this seemed very wrong, and he became angry. 5 Jonah had gone out and sat down at a place east of the city. There he made himself a shelter.. 7 But at dawn the next day God provided a worm, which chewed the plant that provided shade, so that it withered. 8 When the sun rose, God provided a scorching east wind, and the sun blazed on Jonah’s head so that he grew faint.. 10 But the Lord said, “You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. 11 And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?

71 We will be saved from our enemies and from the hand of all who hate us! 72 He has been merciful to our ancestors by remembering his sacred agreement (testament, oath). 73 The agreement he swore with an oath to our ancestor Abraham. 74 That we, being delivered from hostile hands, may serve Him without fear, 75 in justice and righteousness, all our days.  [He changes us - metanoรฉล - from metรก, "changed after being with, noiรฉล - think — think differently after]. 76 And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare his way, 77 to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins [hamartรญa - from “A” - not, and “mรฉros” - a part, share of — forfeiture because of not hitting the target, missing the mark, failure, sinful deed]. 78 Because of the affection and compassion of God, the sunrise (son-rise) from on high will visit us! [Another version - God's love and kindness will shine upon us like the sun that rises in the sky!] 79 To shine on those living in darkness and in - the shadow - of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

80 And the child grew and became strong in spirit. And he lived in the wilderness until he appeared publicly to Israel.

           ~ Hebrews 4:12-16 ~

12 The word of God is alive and powerful! It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. [Soul - psyxแธ— - from psyxล - to breathe, blow, root of the English word psyche, a person's distinct identity, unique personhood.] [Spirit - pneuma - wind, spirit.] 13 Nothing is hidden from God! He sees through everything, and it is to him that we must all give an account of ourselves. 14 Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 For we have a chief priest who is not unable to sympathize with our weaknesses. Because he was tempted in every way that we are, but he didn't sin (“miss the mark”, misstep, do wrong). 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence! There we will receive mercy and find grace to help us, always being just what we need.

            Luke 1:57-66

57 When it was time for Elizabeth’s baby to be born, she gave birth to a son. 58 Her neighbors and relatives heard how kind the Lord had been to her, and they too were glad. 59 When the baby was eight days old, they all came for the circumcision ceremony, and wanted to name him Zechariah, after his father. (On the “8th day” - after the 8th day, the carnal character of mankind is circumcised and peeled away. 8th day image in comments.) 60 But Elizabeth said, “No, his name is John.” 61 But they said, “There is no one among your relatives who has that name!” 62 So they motioned to Zechariah to find out what he wanted to name him. 63 He motioned for a writing tablet, and to everyone’s surprise he wrote, “His name is John.” 64 And immediately Zechariah could speak again, and he began praising God.

65 Awe fell upon the whole neighborhood, and throughout the hill country of Judea the people were talking about all these things. 66 Everyone who heard of it thought about it and asked, "What will this child come to be?" For it was plain the LORD’s hand was upon him.

           ~ Hebrews 4:8-11 ~

8 Now if Joshua (who succeeded Moses) had succeeded in giving them this rest, God would not have spoken about another day of rest still to come. 9 So there is a special sabbath rest, waiting for the people of God. 10 For whoever enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. [We cannot ‘earn’ Life, it’s a gift and when GOD chooses, we receive it.] 11 So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey the way, as the people of Israel did, we will fail. (Root of the matter, from verses yesterday, they didn’t follow the instructions, why? Because they didn’t believe. And if the people didn’t believe, why would they do the follow through? Of entering His Rest, of receiving the gift, which there’s verses which seem to imply those “chosen” to believe now, during this brief lifetime, are chosen “by lot”. All humanity, like a flowing river is flowing to the steep cliff of oblivion. I don’t think this to be depressing! It’s because imperfect is the opposite of what life is! God is Life! How else, or what else, could possibly be true?! And, God “is perfect”. So unavoidably that makes imperfect? What? The opposite of Life. You see why God had two options? Total ant farm or total herd immunity? How to have genuinely able to think and reason beings, aNd, keep paradise/perfection intact..? …I could go on about the attributes of “perfect”. But I’m aLways too long winded.

It was brought to my attention first thing today, first day of summer, is the first day of an annual, reading the prophets in order schedule - I haven’t thought of that schedule for a while, so who knew?๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ‍♀️
