               Luke 2:1-7

1 - In those days Caesar Augustus, the Roman emperor, decreed that a census should be taken throughout the Roman Empire. 2 This was the first census taken when Quirinius was governor of Syria. 3 So everyone went to their own town to register. 4 Joseph, too, went up from the city of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to the City of David, called Bethlehem, because he was a descendant of the household and family of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger [phatnรฉ - feeding trough] because there was no guest room available for them.

From New Testament Letters

          (In Order Written)

           ~ Hebrews 5:1-4 ~

1 - In the Old Testament System/Example of the Bigger True System — Every high priest is selected from among the people and is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God, to offer gifts and sacrifices for sins. (Surely this is appeasement for and to the human psyche? And not to an angry god? “HE has subjected all to disobedience that he may have mercy upon all” Ro.11:32. NoT that this takes away at all from the fact of - appeasement. It - has - all - been - appeased. So “freely receive”.. Love God. We have to let ourselves love God, our father, who is Love (and is the Life force, spirit of life) and he “is perfect” Mt.5:48. He is of course intelligence - and the “I am” - that’s the name he gives himself. The highest of intelligence is unlimited Genius. We Can Trust. Him, and the how, what, when, and WHY, of everything it is he is doing.)

1 - Every high priest is selected from among the people. And is appointed to represent the people in matters related to God. To offer gifts and sacrifices for all our flaws, all our mistakes, all our wrongdoings.. 2 He is able to deal gently with those who are unknowing, misguided, and wayward, because he also has weaknesses. 3 That is why he must offer sacrifices for his own sins as well as theirs. 4 And no one can become a high priest simply because they want to. They must be called by God for the work, just as Aaron was.
