           Luke 24:30-35

30 As they sat down to eat, he took the bread and blessed it. Then he broke it and gave it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him. And at that moment he disappeared! 32 Then they said to each other, “Didn’t our hearts burn within us as he talked with us on the way and while explained the Scriptures to us?” 33 And within the hour they were on their way back to Jerusalem. There they found the eleven disciples and the others who had gathered with them, 34 who were saying, “The Lord has really risen! And has appeared to Peter!” 35 Then the two from Emmaus told their story of how Jesus had appeared to them as they were walking along the road, and how they had recognized him as he was breaking the bread.

20 But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, 21 and keep yourselves in the love of God, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life. (When is “put on immortality” 1Col.15:54.) 22 And have compassion on those who doubt. 23 Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment (cause and effect, God’s judgment as it was he who created a cause and effect universe). Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, shunning the sins that can contaminate. 24 Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25 to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore!
