            Mark 13:1-8

1 - As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!” 2 And Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” 3 Later as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, across the valley from the Temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew came to him privately and asked him, 4 “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to be fulfilled?” 5 Jesus answered, “Don’t let anyone mislead you.” [Or - See to it that no one deceives you - Watch out, don't let anyone fool you - See that no one leads you astray.] 6 “Many will come in my name” (even?) “saying I am he, and they will lead many astray. 7 When you hear about wars and threats of wars, don't be afraid. These things will have to happen first, but that isn't the end. 8 Nations and kingdoms will go to war against each other. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. This is a beginning of troubles.”

    ~ 1 Corinthians 1:4-10 ~

4 - I (Paul) always thank my God for you because of his grace given you in Christ Jesus. 5 For in him you have been enriched in every way, in speech and in knowledge. 6 And by this you can be certain that everything we told you about our Lord Jesus is true. 7 Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for him to be revealed. 8 He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son. 10 I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose!
