 • 2 Corinthians 9:1-6  John 1:29-34  Rev.14:8-13

            ☀️ 2 Corinthians 9:1-6

1 - Now it is actually pointless for me to write to you about this service for the saints, 2 for I (Paul) know your readiness, of which I boast of you to the people of Macedonia, saying that Achaia has been ready since last year. And your zeal has stirred up most of them. 3 So I’m sending the brothers so you can be ready for it, as I told them you would be.

     4 Then if some Macedonian brothers come with me none need be embarrassed. 5 So I thought it good to have the brothers go on ahead to you and arrange in advance, so it may be ready as a gift and not as a burdensome duty. 6 If we sow (share) sparingly we’ll also reap sparingly, but if we share generously, we’ll reap a spiritual bounty. (This was a gift being collected for Jerusalem which had been under a severe drought.)

             πŸŒ™ John 1:29-34

29 - On the next day, John the Baptist/Baptizer saw Jesus coming toward him, and he said, “Look! The Lamb of God, who’s taking away the sin  [hamartia / missing the mark, {cause of life as we presently know it} transgressions] of the world! 30 This is he of whom I said, ‘After me comes a man who ranks before me, because he was before me.’ 31 I myself didn’t know him, but for this purpose I came baptizing with water, that he might be revealed to Israel.” [And from Israel to the world, Isaiah 49:6 - “It is too light {easy?} a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to bring back the preserved of Israel, I will make you a light for the nations! So my salvation will reach to the ends of the earth.”]

     32 And John told them, “I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove! And it remained upon him. 33 I myself didn’t know him, but he who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, he is the one who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’  {Presence of God.} 34 And I (the baptizer) have seen and I bear witness, that this, is - the - Son of God.” {Only straight out from God one. SO close to the Father, both administer God’s Spirit/Presence, same as will saturate and “seal” all creation and humanity.}

             πŸ“œ Revelation 14:8-13

8 - Then I (John) saw a second angel following the path of the first one across the sky. It was crying out, “Fallen, fallen! Is Babylon the great! She who has given all nations to drink the wine of her passionate immorality and corruption.” [The first angel had cried out, “Revere God who created.. for the time of judgment is come..”]

     9 And another angel, a third, followed, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark {to it} on their forehead or hand, 10 they also will drink the cup of the wine of God's wrath {consequences, Obadiah 1:15, Ps.90:3,5-7} poured undiluted. {Things are being allowed to run their full course. Otherwise why bother?} And - they - will be tormented with fire and sulfur {EARTHLY event} before the holy angels and the Lamb. {“All the world’s a stage” Shakespeare.} 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. {There’s a “palin/again-genesis”, so that must be the smoke of the torment/destruction “rising age to age” in the memories of all, and in the record of all things.} And they have no rest, day or night, those {who are} worshipping the beast {many headed geopolitical, thus world, thus Satan, the accelerator} and its image. And who receive the mark [charagma - a stamp, impress, originally an impress on a coin or a seal, later an identification marker, owner's unique brand-mark] of its name.”

    12 Here is a call for the endurance of those who are His (Dn.12:11-12 w/ Lk.19:41,44 and 1Cor.3:16, escalating? Rev.2:10) all who keep the instructions of God and their faith in Jesus. 13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!” {Straightaway, the “Seven thunders” being Is.24:20?)
