01-30 - Ro-5 Mt-10

🗝️s New Testament & Bible prophecy study, verses paraphrased [ ] references { } thots

 • Romans 5:11-15  Matthew 10:1-15

            ☀️ Romans 5:11-15

11 - Not only that! But we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus. For it is through him that we have received reconciliation with God. {We are no longer at odds with God, source of life, our dreams, our ever after - in ouR heart - but now we are friends with him.} 12 It’s the same as how sin [hamartia - missing the mark] entered the world through one man, and death came to all, and because all sin [fall short/miss the mark] death came to all.

     {God (surely?) iS life. And “is perfect” Mt.5:48, so imperfect is entropy, a slow gehenna that “doesn’t quit” so death, opposite of life, “came to all” this ‘quick’ one and done, unavoidable, all important contrast..  “The smoke of it will rise up forever” in our memories, hearts, and psyches, long after and all during the “palin/again-genesis”.}

     13 To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given. But sin is not charged against anyone where there’s no law! No law, no court(s). 14 But regardless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, and Moses’ Law, even over those who never sinned by breaking a direct command, as Adam did. Adam being a pattern (type, shadow) of the one [the real “first”/proto] that was to come. 15 But the gift (from the one that came) isn’t like the trespass. For if “the many” die by the trespass of the one {having inherited that dna and life condition} - how much - moRe - does the gift overflow and abound to “the many”. (The same many.) How much more, the gift that came by the one man, Jesus Christ, and came by God’s grace! [Charis - grace, favor, kindness, blessing, inclined to and favorable towards, leaning towards to share benefit.]

            🌙 Matthew 10:1-15

Jesus called together his twelve disciples and gave them authority over the unclean spirits, to cast them out {and away from people, example, the squealing herd of the Gadarenes} and to heal every disease and affliction. 2 The names of the twelve apostles are these, Simon, who’s called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; 3 Philip and Bartholomew (the surname of Nathanael); Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus/Jude (brother of this second James? also referred to as Lebbaeus?); 4 Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.

     5 These twelve Jesus sent out, instructing [paraggello] {telling} them, “Don’t go among the Gentiles and don’t enter any town of the Samaritans, 6 but go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. [Gentile believers are reckoned as in the “commonwealth of Israel”.] {Israel is the name of God’s kingdom. Jerusalem the enduring capital. We thought Satan (the “accuser/slanderer”) and world’s hatred was vain?}

     7 And as you go, proclaim the kingdom of heaven is at hand. {God could have redeemed the world then. And where would we be?} 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons. You received without earning or pay, and so give without reward. 9 Acquire no gold or silver or copper. 10 Take no money belt nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics or extra sandals or a staff, for the laborer deserves his keep.” {Be ready, especially within, to go as we are, at a moment’s notice?}

     11 “And whatever town or village you enter, find who’s worthy in it and stay there until you leave. 12 When you enter a house, greet it. 13 And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it, but if it’s not worthy, let your peace return to you. 14 And anyone who isn’t receptive and welcoming to you, and won’t hear your words, shake the dust from off your feet when you leave that house or town.” {Don’t ruminate..} 15 “Truly, I tell you, it will be more bearable on the ‘day’ of judgment for the {notorious} land of Sodom and Gomorrah, than it will for that town.” {During GWT Judgment/Discernment/Review/Closure For All ‘DAY’.}
