            ☀️ 2 Corinthians 10:1-6

1 - I, Paul, myself, urge [parakaleΓ³ - kaleo - to-call-to - and para - (one's) side; to exhort, entreat, encourage, comfort, urge, call to one’s side] you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ - I who am humble when face to face, but bold when I’m away! - 2 I beg of you that when I’m present I may not have to show boldness as I count on showing to some who accuse us of walking according to selfish intent. 3 But even so, our competing is not according to self interest. 4 For our tools are not of a carnal nature {the disputes, division, aggression, wars} but are tools and remedies of God’s own divine power. Power to destroy strongholds {of untrue and damaging things}.

     5 We destroy every argument lifted up against the knowledge of God. Taking every thought captive to obeying Christ. {True oneness and unity.} 6 You will be in readiness to correct every false thing, when your own obedience to the faith is complete.

           πŸŒ™ John 2:1-12

1 - On the next day, the third day {says John, John’s third day following, and with Jesus} there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2 and Jesus and his disciples were invited as well. 3 When the wine ran out, Mary told Jesus, “They’ve run out of wine.” 4 And Jesus said, “Woman? What’s that have to do with me, my hour {to act} hasn’t yet come.” 5 But Mary said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you to.”

     6 There were six large stone water jars sitting there for the Jewish practice of frequent washing, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. 7 Jesus said to the servers, “Fill the jars with water.”

     And so they filled them right up to the brim. 8 And Jesus said, “Now draw some out and take it to the manager of the banquet.” And so they did. 9 And when the manager tasted the water that was now wine, he didn’t know where it came from, though the servers knew. He called for the bridegroom, 10 and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drank freely, then they bring out the poor wine! But you’ve kept the best wine for last!” {The BEST of life is last, after this one and done unavoidable contrast.}

     11 This miraculous sign at Cana in Galilee was the first time Jesus revealed his glory. And his disciples believed in him. 12 After this he went down to Capernaum, with his mother, birth brothers and {his few} disciples. And they stayed there for a few days.
