     ☀️ Paul’s Letter to the Romans 1:1-7

1 - (From) Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle, and set apart for the message of God. 2 The message he promised long ago through his prophets, in the holy scriptures. 3 Namely, his Son! {The message ..and, the promise!} He was descended from David according to the earthly {and as written/prophesied} 4 and was declared in power {and by power} to be the Son of God. {With a message! A diadem of a message!}

     And it was demonstrated through the Spirit of holiness, by his resurrection from the dead. 5 It is through him, Jesus Christ, our Lord, that we have received grace and this apostleship [apostolé - to be sent]. And this is in order to bring about faith and the fruit that’s produced when it’s followed, for the sake of his name, and his cause among all nations.

     6 This includes all of you, who are called [klétos - called, invited] to belong to Jesus Christ. {Called during this brief lifetime.}

     7 To all those in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints (believers; later “we shall be like him”) - Grace to you! And peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

            🌙 John 4:45-54

45 - So when he came to Galilee (but not yet Nazareth) the people welcomed him, having seen all that he had done in Jerusalem at the Passover/Unleavened Bread feast. For they too had gone up to the feast.

     46 He went then, again to Cana in Galilee, where he had made the water into wine. Meanwhile at Capernaum, there was an official whose son was ill. 47 When this man heard that Jesus had come from Judea to Galilee, he went out to meet him and asked him to come down and heal his son, for he was at the point of death.

     48 So Jesus said to the crowd, “Unless the people see signs and wonders they won’t believe.”

     49 The official said, “Sir, come down before my child dies.” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go on home, your son will live.” The man believed him, and went on his way.

     51 And as he was on his way, his paid workers came along and told him his son was recovering. 52 So he asked them what hour it was when he began to get well. And they told him, “The fever left him yesterday at the seventh hour.”

     53 The father knew that was the very hour when Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” And so he believed, and all his household with him. 54 This was now the second sign Jesus did in Cana of Galilee.
