☀️ Romans 6:1-7
1 - What shall we say then? Should we continue in sin so grace may abound? 2 Certainly not! How can we who died to sin still live in it? {In captivity to it.} 3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus, were baptized into his death? 4 We were buried with him. We were baptized into his death {our old and imperfect self died with him}. So that also as he was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might rise up to walk in newness of life.
5 And if we hAve been united with him in his death, then we will certainly be united with him in his resurrection as well. 6 We know that our - old - self was crucified with him in order that the tendency to sin might be broken. So we would no longer be enslaved to sin. 7 For one who has died {in this way} has been set free from sin.
🌙 Matthew 10:27-42
27 - “What I tell you in private” said Jesus to his followers, “proclaim openly. And what you hear whispered, say from the housetops.
28 Don’t fear those who can kill the body but cannot kill the soul” [psyxḗ - from psyxō - to breathe, blow, which is the root of the English words psyche, psychology – soul (psyche) a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality] ["the soul that sins shall die" Ezekiel 18:20]. “Rather fear he who cAn destroy both soul and body in [en - in, on, at, with, among, by] gehenna. {This slow gehenna fade to total fade out, ten four, over and out.. Natural law, God is Life and “is Perfect” Mt.5:48, so imperfect is both entropy and an abyss of potential. So let the dis-ease run its course with the remedy for all built into this ‘quick’ one & done, because an Ant Farm is no true paradise/perfection. (Eph.1:10.) And God, being Life, suffers it all.}
29 “Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father? 30 Even the hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Fear noT, therefore, you, are of more value than many sparrows.”
32 “Everyone who acknowledges me before men, I will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies me before men, I will also deny before my Father who’s in heaven.” {Does not say ‘forever’. Never does, but is “aionion”/eonian.}
34 “Don’t think that I’ve come to bring peace to the earth. {NoT yet.} I’ve not come to bring peace, but a sWord. {THY word is Truth.. otherwise it’s a house built on sand ..and many will say, Lord, Lord.. [..as Mt.13:30 is Rev.16:14-15-16 and, or Mt.25:1-13 to serving called reigning during long second advent, surely a full scope version of his first so brief one.] 35 “For I’ve come {the first time} to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 A person's adversaries will be those of their own household.
37 But whoever loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me. And whoever loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And whoever doesn’t take ip their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. 39 Whoever finds their life {hangs on to their own ways before his} will lose it, and whoever lets go of their life for my sake, will find it. {God surely(?) has our highest blueprint.} 40 Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives he who sent me.
41 Whoever receives a prophet because they are a prophet will receive a prophet's reward. And whoever receives a righteous person because they are a righteous person will receive a righteous person's reward. 42 And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because they are my disciple [mathétés - disciple, learner, pupil, believer] truly, I tell you, they shall noT, by any means, lose their reward.” [Misthos - reward, wages, fruit naturally resulting.]
