GospeL Verses ~ Luke 6:6-11 Mark 3:1-12
Lk.6:6 - On yet another Sabbath, Jesus entered the synagogue and was teaching, and a man was there whose right hand was withered. 7 The scribes and Pharisees were watching, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath, hoping they might find a reason to raise an accusation. 8 But he knew their thoughts, and he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come up here, and stand.” And so he did. 9 And Jesus said, “I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath or to do harm? To save life or destroy it?” (To allow it to be ruined? Destroy is from the same greek word as used in last hours prophecy, apollumi - said to mean “to utterly destroy”.) 10 And after looking around at them all Jesus said, “Stretch out your hand.” And as he did so, his hand was fully restored. 11 But the scribes and Pharisees (teachers and leaders, way more political than spiritual/religious) were filled with fury (and hate). And they discussed with one another what they could do to Jesus. (To get him out of the picture.)
Mk.3:1 - (Mark’s version via interviews.) Again he entered the synagogue, and a man was there with a withered hand. 2 And they watched Jesus, to see whether he would heal him on the Sabbath, so they might accuse him. 3 And he said to the man with the withered hand, “Come up here.” 4 And he said to those in the synagogue, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do harm, to save life or to kill?” But they remained silent. 5 And he looked around at them (the leaders) with anger, for he was grieved at their hardness of heart. And he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored! 6 The Pharisees went out and immediately held counsel with the Herodians against him, how to destroy him.
7 And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea, and a great crowd was following from Galilee and Judea, 8 and Jerusalem and Idumea, and from beyond the Jordan and from around Tyre and Sidon. When the crowd heard all that he was doing, they came looking for him. 9 And he told his disciples to have a boat ready for him because of the crowd, lest they crush him, 10 for he had healed many, and a great crowd who had diseases, infirmities, and handicaps, pressed close around him to touch him. 11 And whenever the unclean spirits saw him, they would fall down before him and cry out, “You are the Son of God.” 12 And he strictly ordered them not to make him known.

~ Hebrews 10:35-39 ~
35 - Therefore, brothers and sisters, don’t throw away your confidence, for it yields a great reward. 36 You have need of endurance. So when you’ve done the will of God you may receive what is promised. 37 For, “Yet a little while, and the coming one will come and will not tarry. 38 But the one/those of mine, who are righteous, shall live by faith, and if they shrink back, my soul has no pleasure in them.” (Mt.25:1-13) 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and come to ruin [apαΉleia - perdition does not imply "annihilation, see the meaning of the root-verb, apΓ³llymi, cut off, but instead loss of well-being] but we are of those who have faith to the preservation of soul [psyche - a person's distinct identity, unique personhood, i.e. individual personality].
