GospeL Verses ~ Luke 6:30-38
30 - “If someone begs from you” Jesus continued, “give to them. And if someone takes away your possessions don’t demand to have them back. 31 Treat others as you wish others would treat you. 32 For if you love only those who love you, of what special value is that? For even sinners (our state before regeneration) love those who love them. 33 And if you do good to those who do good to you, what benefit is that? For even sinners [greek hamartians - missing the mark] do the same. 34 And if you lend to those who you know will pay you back, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to get it back again. 35 But I tell you to love your enemies. Do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great. You will be sons and daughters of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and to the evil [ponéros - toilsome, bad]. 36 So be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.
37 Don’t judge others, and you will not be judged. Don’t condemn others, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will it be put into your lap. For with whatever measure you use, it will be measured back to you.”

8 - It was by faith that Abraham listened and obeyed when God called him to go out to an unknown place he was to receive as an inheritance. He went, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, living in tents in a foreign land, with Isaac and Jacob, his son and grandson, heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city (and reality) that has foundations, whose designer and builder is God.
