Colossians 1 16-20

03/11 ~ From New Testament Letters

       Paul’s Letter To The Colossians

                   (paraphrased)

(15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of aLL creation.) 16 - For by him all things were created, in heaven and upon earth. Visible and invisible, whether seats or dominions or rulers [arché - beginnings, origins, rulers, authorities, principalities] or authorities [exousia - powers, rights, jurisdictions]. All were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all, and in him all are held together. 18 He is the head of the body, the church (body of believers). And he is the beginning, and the firstborn from the dead, so that in everything he might be preeminent. 19 For in him - all the fullness of God - was pleased to dwell, 20 and, through him “to reconcile to himself, the all, having made peace by the blood of the cross of him, whether the upon earth or the in the heavens”.

Tomorrows verses - Colossians 1:21-29

My own studies. Been neglecting Psalms (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150) and the Prophets.
