Colossians 1 9-15

      Paul’s Letter To The Colossians 

                   (paraphrased)

9 - And so, from the day we first heard, we’ve not stopped praying for you, asking that you will be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 So as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, and bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11 By being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might. For endurance and patience with joy! 12 Giving thanks to the Father always, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance in light. 13 For he has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transplanted us into the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins [hamartia - missing the mark]. {Folks stumble at this? We’re snowflakes? A sign of the times.. Don’t tell me I’m flawed or mistaken in any way! But the scripture says submit, yield, follow. As for me.. “man and woman shall not live on bread alone” ..and 2Tim.3:16.}

     15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of aLL creation. Amen.
