            ☀️ Colossians 2:1-7

1 - For I (Paul) want you to know how great a struggle I have for you! Also for those at Laodicea and for all who have not seen me face to face. 2 That they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so they may have the full riches of full understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God - which is Christ - 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I say this that no one may delude and mislead you with convincing sounding arguments. 5 I’m not there with you, but I’m with you in spirit, and I’m rejoicing to know of your stability in Christ. That you’re following his good way, and your faith in him is genuine.

     6 For as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, let your walk remain in him! 7 Rooted and built up in him. Established in the faith as you learned! And overflowing in thankfulness!

            πŸŒ™ John 7:25-36

(It was the week of Tabernacles) 25 and some of the people of Jerusalem said, “Isn’t this the one they (the leaders of the nation) seek to kill? 26 And here he is (in the temple) speaking openly. And they’re saying nothing to him! Can it be the authorities really know this is the Christ?”

     27 Others said, “But we know where he comes from, and when the Christ appears, no one will know where he comes from.”

     28 So Jesus said, as he was teaching in the temple, “You know me, and you know where I come from. But I haven’t come of my own will. He who sent me is true, and you don’t know him. 29 I know him, for I come from him, and he sent me.”

     30 So they were seeking to arrest him, but no one laid a hand on him, because the hour hadn’t yet come. 31 Many did believe in him. They said, “When the Christ appears, will he do more signs than this man has done?!” {And, surprise! What about when he has a long second advent?}

     32 The leaders, the chief priests and Pharisees, knew what the people were saying, so they sent officers to arrest him.

     33 Jesus said, “I’ll be with you a little longer, and then I’m going to he who sent me. 34 You’ll seek me but you won’t find me. Where I’m going you can’t come.”

     35 The people said to one another, “Where’s he going that we won’t find him? Is he planning to go to the kinsmen among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? 36 What does he mean by saying, ‘You’ll seek me and you won’t find me,’ and, ‘Where I am you can’t go’?”
