GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 28:16-20

16 - The eleven went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 Then when they saw him they worshiped him, but some were still not sure [distázō - to waver, doubt, from dís - two, double, and stásis, stance, standing, properly, going two ways, shifting between positions]. 18 Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and upon earth has been given to me. 19 Go and disciple all nations, baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost/Presence (of God with us[!] The “Gift”!) 20 Teach them to observe all that I’ve instructed. And remember, I am with you all the days, to the completion of the age.”

                ~ Hebrews 2:12-14 ~

Review, verse 11 - So now Jesus and the ones he makes holy, are of the same One. That is why he is not ashamed to call them brothers [adelphos - from alpha and delphus - womb].

12 - saying, “I will tell of Your name [onoma - name, authority, cause] to my brothers, and in the midst of the congregation I will sing your praises.” 13 And also, “I will put my trust in Him.”

     And, “Behold, I and the children God has given me.” 14 Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood (imperfection, where nothing is guaranteed, life as we presently know it, an unavoidable, all important contrast - the crucible, laver, sieve) he himself likewise suffered the same things. This was so through his death he might destroy the one holding the power of death, that is, the devil [diabolos - from diabállō - to slander, accuse, defame – properly, a slanderer, accuser, unjustly criticizing to hurt (malign) and condemn. “A murderer from the beginning” Jn.8:44. Zech.7:9 - “Have honest courts”].
