☀️ Ephesians 5:1-8
1 - Therefore try to be like God {who iS Love} as beloved children. 2 And walk in love. As Christ loved us! He even gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. {Imagine dying, etc(!) if you didn’t have to. Would anything less dramatic be able to reach every heart? Be able to appease eveRy conscience? He said he “laid down” his life “willingly” Jn.10:18. Rescued us from imperfection, which is entropy and an abyss of potential, both collective and individual. Heck pre-flood was hands off and look how that turned out.}
3 So sexual transgression, all impurity [a-kathartos - contamination] and greed [pleonexia - greed, covetousness] mustn’t even be named among you, as is proper among saints/believers.
4 Avoid foolish talk and crude joking, as out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving. 5 You can be sure of this, that anyone who is sexually trangressing or impure, or who is greedy - which is idolatry - is not {presently in “the way” of} inheriting the kingdom of Christ and God.
6 Don’t be deceived by empty words. It’s because of these things that comes the wrath of God {consequences} upon the children of disobedience.
{I’m convinced, God’s wrath is ‘code’ for cause and effect. His “passion”/greek orge - passion, translated wrath, as opposed to what? Creation as just an ant farm? Creation as Total Ant Farm, versus Total ‘Herd’ Immunity? The dis-ease as part of the cure? An unavoidable, all important contrast, engineered as this ‘quick’ one and done..}
7 So don’t become involved in such things. 8 for at one time you were without light [skotos - darkness, lacking light] but now you’re in the light of the LORD. {We should} walk in that light, as children oF light..
π John 11:28-37
28 - After this, Martha went back into the house and called her sister Mary, saying privately, “The teacher is here and is calling for you.” 29 When Mary heard it, she rose quickly and went to him. 30 Now Jesus had not yet come into the village, but was still where Martha had met him. 31 When the Judeans/Hebrews/Jews who were with her in the house, consoling her, saw Mary get up quickly and go out, they followed her, supposing she was going to the tomb to weep.
32 Now when Mary came to where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet, saying to him, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
33 When Jesus saw her weeping, and those who had come with her weeping also, he was deeply moved and troubled in his spirit. 34 And he said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 And Jesus wept. 36 So they said, “See how he loved him!” 37 But some said, “Couldn’t he who opened the eyes of the blind man, also have kept this man from dying?”
