MARK 6 46-56

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story

πŸƒπŸ•Š️reading & study πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

   08/15 - GospeL Verses

46 - After Jesus saw the people off, he went further inland, into the mountain in order to be alone to pray. 47 And when evening came, the boat was out on the sea [of Galilee] but he was still on land. 48 He saw they were struggling, for the wind was against them. {Like life! Imperfection/entropy a slow gehenna that flares up into fiery judgments from time to time.. happens to all, leading up to the true judgment which ultimately and eventually will occur in every heart, as Jesus “will draw all” Jn.12:32, because “God is savior of all” 1Tim.4:10. And “in the fullness of time” after the the week plus one, after the “8th day”/millennium, “when the Son has subdued all and hands all over to the Father at the “end-aim” then “all of heaven/angelos and all of earth/anthropos will be gathered into Jesus” that “God be all in all” via the simultaneous 2nd vivification at the fieRy “palin/again-genesis”, separated five hundred years (Lev.23) from its partner, the 2nd resurrection. Ephesians 1:10, 1Cor.15:(22)27-28-word all five times is pas-all.}

     And then at about the fourth watch of the night he went out to them walking on the water. He meant to pass by, 49 but they saw him and thought it was a ghost, and cried out! 50 For they saw him walking by on the water and were terrified. But he said, “Take heart! It is I! Don’t be afraid!” 51 And he got into the boat with them, and the wind stopped, and they were utterly amazed. 52 For they didn’t understand [suniΓ©mi - put together, consider, understand, perceive] about the loaves, for their hearts were hardened [pΓ³roΓ³ - petrified, hardened, from pōros, a kind of marble) – properly, made of stone; figuratively, insensible, dull, unperceptive, unresponsive]. {Unresponsive.. perhaps struggles of life make us more responsive.. and he gets in, or that is we realize he’s in the boat with us. This in response to the extreme thought that when he calls we should be like - zero. Zero response. I understand we DO NOT earn Life/salvation. That’s the other extreme. But a stone as a bride? I can’t think that’s the way either.}

     53 When they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret and anchored at shore. 54 When they got out of the boat, the people immediately knew it was Jesus, 55 and they ran about the whole region and began to bring sick ones on their beds to wherever they heard he was. 56 And wherever he came, in the villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched, were made whole.

MARK 1 14-20

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

     07/04 - GospeL Verses

14 - John was arrested, and meanwhile Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent [metanoeΓ³ - meta and noieo - to think differently afterwards] and believe the gospel.” [Euaggelion - good news, gospel, good message.]

     16 And passing alongside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. 17 And Jesus said to them, “Follow me. I’ll make you become fishers of men.” {They had seen him at the Jordan River, or at least fellow fishermen John and James did, one of the other gospel accounts says.} 18 And immediately they left their nets and went with him. 19 And going on a little further, he saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother, who were in their boat mending their nets. 20 And immediately he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired workers and followed him.

JOHN 20 30 to 21 6

 a paraphrased ‘enter the story’

     06/11 - GospeL Verses

30 - Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book. 31 But what is written is so you may believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

     21:1 - Now Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias (another name for Sea of Galilee). And in this way — 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon Peter said, “I’m going fishing!” They said to him, “We’ll go too.” So they took the boat out, but all that night, they caught nothing.

     4 And just as day was breaking, Jesus stood at the shore. The disciples didn’t know it was Jesus. 5 He said to them, “Children, have you any fish?” They answered, “No, we caught nothing.” 6 He said, “Cast the net to the right side of the boat, and you’ll find some.” So they did, and now they were not able to haul in the catch, there were so many.

JOHN 6 22-29

   πŸƒπŸ•Š️ 02/22 - GospeL Verses πŸ•Š️πŸƒ

22 - On the next day the crowd that remained on the other side of the sea (of Galilee) saw that there had been only one boat there, and that Jesus hadn’t been in the boat with his disciples, who had gone on alone. 23 Other boats from Tiberias (the west side and shore) came near where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. 24 So when the crowd saw Jesus wasn’t there, nor his disciples, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum, looking for him.

     25 When they found him on the other side of the sea, they said, “Rabbi, when did you come here?”26 Jesus answered, “Truly, I tell you, you’re looking for me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves. 27 Don’t work for the food that perishes, but for the food that doesn’t fade to enduring life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has set his seal.” [His Spirit/Presence.] 28 Then they said, “What must we do? To be doing the works of God?” 29 Jesus answered, “This is the work of God - that you believe in he whom he has sent.”

JOHN 20:30-21:6

 πŸƒπŸ•Š️12/11 - GospeL Verses πŸƒπŸ•Š️

30 - Jesus did many other signs while still with his disciples, which are not written of in this book. 31 But these are written so you may believe. That you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing have life in his name. {Enduring Life.}

     21 Jesus again revealed himself to the disciples. This was by the Sea of Tiberias (eastern side of Lake/Sea of Galilee). 2 Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. 3 Simon said to them, “I’m going fishing.” And they said to him, “We’ll go too.” And so they fished through the night, and caught nothing. 4 But just as day was breaking, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples didn’t know it was him. 5 Jesus called out to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” They answered him, “No, not a one.” 6 He said, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you’ll find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. [This had happened earlier too.]

          Mark 1:14-20

14 After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15 “The time has been fulfilled,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near! Repent/change your mind (thinking) and believe the good news!”

     16 As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon (Peter) and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 17 “Come, follow Me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” 18 And immediately, leaving their nets, they followed Him.

     19 As Jesus went on a little farther, he saw James and John, the sons of Zebedee. They were in a boat mending and preparing their nets. 20 Without delay Jesus called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.

From New Testament Letters

          (In Order Written)

       ~ Hebrews 7:25-28 ~

25 Therefor, he (Jesus) is able to save to-the uttermost [pantelΓ©s - all complete, entire, from(!) pas (all) and telos (end-aim)! to-the utter most] those drawing near to God through Him, for he lives on and intercedes/intervenes [entygxΓ‘nō - from en - in, which intensifies tygxΓ‘nō - to obtain by hitting the mark (!) – properly - light upon - meet with, obtain, to go and meet a person to converse, consult, i.e. to intersect with, intervene] on their behalf. 26 He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, pure, set apart from sinners (hamartians) exalted above the heavens! 27 Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for the sins of the people.

     (To appease an angry god? Or to appease/“cleanse ouR conscience”?) He sacrificed for sins [hamartia - missing the mark] once for all, when he offered himself. (A/the “lamb without flaw” in our place. We were under the cause and effect death sentence, slated for execution, so to speak. But instead, there is a full and legal trade, an execution in our place, backed with an oath - sworn to in the name of the highest, aka, God “swearing by his own name” (Is.45:23) for there is nothing higher to swear an oath by. Why such extreme? To reach eveRy psyche and pierce through eveRy guilty conscience.)

     28 The law appointed high priests who were limited by human weakness. But later, after the law was given, God appointed his Son, with an oath, and his Son has been made perfect High Priest perpetually [or literally “to the age/aion (of?) perfection - teleioΓ³ - to bring to an end, to complete, perfect]. (The oath was after the law, but the promise of the Son/the savior’s coming, was first given in Eden, Gen.3:15.)

     [The root tygxΓ‘nō - of entygxΓ‘nō - (intervene) means "to strike, hit the bulls-eye" ("spot on"). Accordingly, it is used in classical Greek as the antonym of harmartia ("to miss the mark” translated sin), so Lucian, Xenophon, Homer, etc. (see Thayer, word #G5177/tygxΓ‘nō).]
