04/25 - GospeL Verses
1 - Jesus left the temple and was going away from it, when his disciples came up to him to point out the glory of the structures of the temple [hieron - refers to the entire temple complex]. 2 But he answered them, “You see all this? Truly - I tell you - there will not be left here, one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” {Dan.12:11, hello?}
3 A little later, as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will this be? And what will be the sign of your coming and consummation [sunteleia - completion, consummation, end] of the age?”
4 Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. 5 For many will come in my name {even?) saying I am Christ, and they will lead many astray. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, don’t be alarmed, for this is necessary to take place. But the end is not yet.”
