04/05 - GospeL Verses
1 - Jesus said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to those through whom they come! 2 It would be better for them if a heavy millstone were hung around their neck and they be cast into the sea than that they should cause one of these little ones to sin. {Seduce them, bend/pervert an immature believer’s Christian way, or worse, the eviL of scarring a child’s psyche and life. Ultimately judgment is self judgment? Happily Christ Crucified is strong enough to be able to appease every conscience, reach every psyche. But oh the heart and gut wrenching remorse some will go to.. all of us some. Not loving others enough, giving more of our time.. But imagine having been a cruel and heartless despot.. or violent hater.. Not despots, but today many thoughtlessly sow division.. embrace hatred not realizing it’s just the same old repeating in history.. Nothing enlightened or righteous about hatreds of the hour. There’s only the two gatherings at the culmination of history.. yes? “Gather first the still weeds to a bonfire” surely to armageddon battle, Mt.13:30, Rev.16:14-15-16; and Matthew 25:1 through 13, going through “the door” into “the” millennium (a Sabbath millennium from enmity) to serve/help called reigning, also during an “8th day” ..the “last great day”, Rev.20, but told like describing only the crests of waves.} {P.S. In Rev.21:5, it’s “all”. The word “things has been inserted, also in many other verses. Greek “pas” - all.}
3 “Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother or sister sins, rebuke them, and if they repent [metanoeo - think better and turn] forgive them. 4 And the same if they sin against you, even seven times in a day, and then turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I’m sorry,’ you shall forgive.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!” 6 And the Lord said, “If you had faith like a tiny grain of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” {Have you ever tried to weed out and be rid of an unwanted Mulberry tree?}
7 “Will any one of you who has a worker plowing or keeping sheep say to them when they come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? 8 Will you not rather say to them, ‘Prepare supper for me, dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? 9 Does he thank the servant? {Though they should, they seldom do.} 10 So with you! When you have done all that you are commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy [axreíos – properly, unneeded, lacks usefulness] servants, we have only done what was our duty/work/employment.’” {God is 100% unfettered Genius and capability, our serving is our benefit, not His! We are not “all that” nor is it “all about moi”. And talents, gifts, fruit is from His Spirit/Presence.. is his forming, blueprint, design and enabling. We are drawn, and inspired and enabled to ask, seek, knock.. pursue..}
⛲️🕊️is his blueprint. “And the lion will eat straw like the ox, the bear will graze with the cow” Isaiah 11:7.
