04/18 ~ From New Testament Letters
(In the Order Believed Written)
Paul’s Letter To The Philippians
8 - Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, or honorable, whatever is just, or pure, whatever is lovely, and commendable, if there’s any excellence, or anything worthy of praise, think about such things. 9 What you have learned and received, heard and seen in me—practice those things, and the God of peace will be with you.
10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at long last your concern for me was made known. You were concerned for me, and you had no opportunity. 11 Not however, that I’m saying I was in need, for I’ve learned in whatever situation I’m in, to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In all circumstances, I’ve learned the secret, of when there is plenty, and when there is hunger, when there’s abundance, and when there’s need. 13 I can do all things through he who strengthens me.
