04/17 ~ From New Testament Letters

   (In the Order Believed Written)

   Paul’s Letter To The Philippians

1 - Therefore, my brothers and sisters, whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stay firm in the Lord, my beloved.

2 I appeal to Euodia and Syntyche. Please, because you belong to the Lord, settle your disagreement. 3 Yes, I ask you also, true companion, help these women, who have labored side by side with me in the gospel together with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always! Yes, rejoice! 5 Let your reasonableness [epieikés - to be moderate, reasonable, forbearing, mild, fair, gentle(ness)] be evident to everyone. The Lord is at hand 6 so don’t worry about anything! But in everything by prayer with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which is above all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

My own studies. Been neglecting Psalms (jan 1-20, feb-20’s, mar-30’s, apr-40’s, etc. dec-120-150) and the Prophets.
