   (In the Order Believed Written)

    Paul’s Letter To The Philippians

1 - Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, to all the saints in Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers [episkopos - from epi - over, and skopos - watcher or guardian] and deacons [diákonos - from diá - thoroughly, and konis - dust, properly, “thoroughly raise up dust(!) by moving quickly about” so ministry, sacred service, servant, administrator]:

2 Grace to you! And peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 I thank my God in all my remembering of you! 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all, I make my prayer with joy. 5 This is because of our partnership in the gospel from the first day we met until now. 6 And I am sure of this, that he who has begun a good work in you {and in us!} will bring it to completion, at the day of Jesus Christ.

7 It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because you’re in my heart, for you’re all partakers with me of this grace, both in my imprisonment and in this work of the defense and confirming of the gospel. 8 For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus.
