John 14:12-21
12 “Truly, truly” Jesus said, “of a truth, I tell you, the one believing in me, the works that I do, they shall do also. And greater than these even, for I am going to the Father. 13 And whatever you might ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father will be glorified in the Son.”
{It’s SO good to know not one shall ever be ‘lost’. We know this because God “is Perfect” (Mt.5:48).This world is dragging people down. It’s burden is getting very heavy. Yes we all were lost ..Israel is the mini version.. “you wandered from Me” World is the macro version. “I will call you back to myself..” The false castles are certainly bound to fall. But not one soul (living being) will be lost. Ultimately a ReGenesis.. I’m thinking a very large planet.. “The lion will eat straw like the ox.”}
14 (14:14) “If you ask anything of me, in the name of me, I will do it. 15 If you love me, you will follow my instructions. 16 And I will ask the Father and he will send you another helper (another aid?) [paraklΓ©tos - called to one's aid, from parΓ‘ - "from close-beside" and kalΓ©Ε - "make a call") – properly, a legal advocate who makes the right judgment call because close enough to the situation]. (God’s Spirit/Presence with us!) 17 The Spirit of Truth which the world is not able to receive because it doesn’t see nor know him. But you know him, for he abides with you and will be in you, 18 (and) is coming to you. For you will not be left as orphans. 19 (When) in yet a little while the world will no longer see me, but you shall see me! And because I live, you also will live! 20 In that day you will know that I am in my father, and you in me, and I in you. (π€ There’s the dispute - is the scripture meant to speak to all of us? Or only the audience at the time? “In that day” is a strange phrase to use when what you’re referring to is just a few days away. “In that day” is the Father’s prophecy introduction phrase used by the prophets.) 21 Whoever has my instructions and keeps them, are the ones who love me. And whoever loves me, will be loved by the Father. And I also will love them, and will reveal myself to them.

(Answers to some accusers.) 1 - Am I (Paul, former Pharisee) not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are not you the result of my work in the Lord? 2 Even if others may think I’m not an apostle, surely I am to you? As you yourselves are evidence that I am the Lord’s apostle. 3 This is my defense to those cross examining me. 4 Have we no right to food and drink? 5 Don’t we have the right to bring our wife with us as the other apostles do? And as the Lord’s brothers do, and Peter does? 6 Or is it Barnabas and I only who have to work to support ourselves? 7 Does a soldier have to pay his own expenses? What farmer plants a vineyard and but has no right to eat of its fruit? What shepherd cares for a flock of sheep but isn’t allowed to drink some of the milk? 8 Do I say this only from a human point of view? Or does the law say this as well? 9 For the law of Moses says, “Do not muzzle an ox to keep it from eating the grain as it works.” Was God only thinking about oxen when he said this? 10 But is he not also speaking to us and for our benefit? For whoever plows and threshes, surely should do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest. 11 We have sown very beneficial seed among you. Should we be criticized if you share with us some of its fruitful benefits?
