            Mark 14:1-9

1 - In two days it was Passover and Unleavened Bread (week). [Passover  is at the full moon of the first month. And the next day is the “First Day of Unleavened Bread” a Sabbath. And last day is a Sabbath too. And don’t forget the regular weekly Sabbath. And day after that Sabbath is third holyday of the week, called Firstfruits. Jesus’ perfectly fulfilled the Spring holy days by his first (brief) advent. It’s hard to see HOW perfectly because there is the three Sabbaths, thus also three preparation days of the week, plus days start at sunset rather than sunrise. And both Hebrew and Roman times was used.]πŸ€“

The leaders, the chief priests and scribes were seeking how to take him by stealth that they might kill him. 2 “But not during the feast/festival” they said, “lest there be an uproar of the people”. 3 Jesus was at the house of Simon the leper (healed, I’m sure) in Bethany. During the meal a woman came in with an expensive bottle of perfume. She broke the seal and poured the oil over Jesus’ head. [Ancient Israel anointed their kings.] 4 Some there were offended thinking what a waste it was. 5 And they grumbled at her, “You could have sold that to help the poor!” 6 But Jesus said, “Why trouble her? She has done a good work for me. 7 You always have the poor with you, and you can do good to them at any time, but you will not always have me with you. 8 She came to do what she could, she has come beforehand to anoint me for burial. 9 I tell you, wherever the good news is proclaimed, this too will be told as a memorial to her.

     ~ 1 Corinthians 6:1-8 ~

1 - If you have a dispute among yourselves, why would you go to the world’s courts over the matter, rather than to the believers/followers? 2 Do you not know, believers will [krΓnō - quote - “J. Thayer comments that the proper meaning of krΓnō, is to pick out (choose) by separating"] - I’m convinced that during the Lord’s long second advent, the Lord will do the same works He did during his brief first one. But with helpers, serving, called reigning, for to do His works, surely(?) is to reign. And isn’t that what Jesus did? Separated those he healed, and those who followed him. Look at the pattern of the Autumn holy days. I think Judgment ‘Day’ will last 500 years. Maybe you’ll see the pattern I do.) And if the world is to be so judged by you, can not you judge the smallest matters? 3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more the things of this life? 4 So why lay such cases before those who have no standing in the church? 5 I do say this to your shame, for can it be that there is not one wise one among you who with integrity is able and competent to judge between fellow believers? 6 Instead it is brother against brother, etc, and before nonbelievers! 7 To even have such lawsuits among you, shows failure. It is better to accept injustice. Better to be cheated. 8 Instead you cheat and wrong each other! And this among brothers and sisters!
