Mark 15:1-15
1 - And as soon as it was morning, the leaders, the chief priests, the elders, scribes, and the whole Sanhedrin held a council. And then they bound Jesus, led him away to Pilate, the Roman governor. 2 โAre you the king of the Jews?โ asked Pilate. (A claim to be a king was punishable by death.) And Jesus answered, โYou have said so.โ 3 Then the leading priests accused him of many things. 4 And Pilate asked him, โArenโt you going to answer them? See how many charges they have brought against you!โ 5 But Jesus made no response, and Pilate was amazed.
6 It was a custom every year during Passover, that the governor would free one prisoner chosen by the people. 7 Another prisoner at that time was Barabbas who had committed murder in a violent revolt. 8 A crowd went to Pilate and asked him for the release of a prisoner as usual. 9 โWould you like me to release this โKing of the Jewsโ?โ Pilate asked them. 10 Pilate knew the leaders had brought Jesus to him because they were jealous. 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd to have him release Barabbas. 12 And Pilate said, โWhat then do you want me to do with this man called King of the Jews?โ 13 โCrucify him!โ they shouted. 14 โWhy? What crime has he done?โ asked Pilate. But they shouted all the louder, โCrucify him!โ 15 Wanting to please the crowd, he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. (He was sentenced at the very hour of the morning sacrifice on that Passover.) [Passover is the feast preparation day - but the days begin at sunset, rather than at midnight. The daily sacrifices and Spring holy days were fulfilled perfectly by Jesusโ brief, first advent. Itโs not easy to see however, what with days beginning at sunset, thereโs three Sabbaths of the week, so also three preparation days, and both Hebrew and Roman time was used. Plus Passover and the following feast day - 1st Day of Unleavened Bread - were moveable days. And making it totally confusing, they were far and wide called interchangeably. And the entire week also, was referred to as either Passover, or as Unleavened Bread! ..The third โholy dayโ - Firstfruits - is not moveable, but always follows the regular weekly/saturday Sabbath.]

~ 1 Corinthians 11:30-34 ~
30 That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have even died [koimaรณ - to sleep, fall asleep, die]. 31 But if we would examine ourselves, we would not come under such judgment (would not reap such consequences). 32 But being judged by the Lord, we are disciplined, that we should not be judged with the world. (Keeps us off paths of wrong ways. Some of us get offended at the idea of the Lord disciplining, or at the mention of judgment, but the message has to speak to and address all of us, from mature, to unruly and even to the barbaric and abusive.) 33 So then, my brothers and sisters, when you gather to eat, you should wait for one another. 34 If you are genuinely hungry, you should eat at home. You donโt want to bring judgment upon yourself. (Some were going without because others were eating early and more than their share.) About the other things you asked, I will give instructions when I come.
