GospeL Verses ~ Matthew 19:13-30
13 - Then people were bringing their little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. The disciples scolded them. 14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and don’t stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 15 And when he had placed his hands on them, blessing them, he then continued on from there.
16 Just then a man came and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do to have the life unfading?” 17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There’s only one who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘You shall not murder, shall not commit adultery, shall not steal, shall not give false testimony (taking his name in vain as a false oath). 19 Honor your father and your mother,’ and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 “All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I lack?” 21 Jesus said, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come and follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this, he went away sad, because he had great wealth.
23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I say to you, it’s hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 It’s easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to (turn and) enter the kingdom of God.” 25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly surprised and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 26 Jesus looked intently at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God aLL things are possible.”
27 Peter answered him, “We have left everything to follow you! What will be our reward?” 28 Jesus answered, “Truly I tell you, at the regeneration/regenesis [paliggenesia - regeneration, renewal, from pΓ‘lin - again, and gΓ©nesis - birth, beginning] when the Son of Man is sitting on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. (This is included in “the regeneration/regenesis” - 2Pet.3:10 and 12-13 being [earthly, fiery] bookends of the Lord’s [entire] long second advent.) 29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake, will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit unfading life. 30 Yet many who are first will be last, and many who are last will be first.

1 - [From] Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father.
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you. 4 Ever since we heard of your faith in Jesus and of the love you have for all the believers. 5 And because of the hope [elpis - expectation, hope, from elpΕ - to anticipate, welcome, properly, the expectation of what is sure] laid up [apokeimai - to be laid away, be laid up in store, being stored] for you in heaven. Of this you have heard before by the word of truth, the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and increasing. (Rev.6:1-2!) Even as it does also among you, since the day you heard and understood the grace of God in truth, 7 just as you learned it from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant. He is a faithful minister/servant of Christ on your behalf. 8 And he has told us of your love in the Spirit.
