GospeL Verses ~ Luke 11:5-13

5 - Jesus said, “Which of you who has a friend will go to them at midnight and say, ‘Friend! Lend me three loaves! 6 For a friend has arrived on a journey, and I have no food to serve!’ 7 And they will answer, ‘Don’t bother me! The door is shut, my family and I are in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’. 8 I tell you, though they will not get up and give you anything because of your friendship, yet if you are insistent they will rise up and give you whatever you need. 9 So I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. 10 For everyone who asks receives, the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 11 What parent among you, if your child asks for a fish, will instead give to them a serpent? 12 Or if they ask for an egg, will give them a scorpion? 13 If you then, as imperfect as you are, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.” (The answer to all things! Is more of God’s Spirit/Presence.)

                  ~ Ephesians 4:11-16 ~

11 - And so he caused some to be apostles, some prophets, evangelists, shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip us for the work, for the building up of the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, to the knowing of the Son of God. To maturity, to the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 no longer as immature, tossed about and to and fro by the waves (trends of the air) and moved by every wind of doctrine, by human reasoning, and by deception and schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, that is, into the fullness of Christ. 16 For it is from him the whole body, joined and held together by every joint, and by all with which it is equipped, each part working properly, makes the body grow so it is built up in love.
