2 Corinthians 3 12-18

12/22 ~ From New Testament Letters

🕊️ (In the Order Believed Written)

12 - Because the hope [elpis - expectation, trust, confidence] we have, is so great, it causes us to be very bold! 13 Not like Moses, who put a veil over his face when the Israelites couldn’t gaze at the radiance, of what was (after all) {a} temporary {testament}. 14 But their minds were hardened [póroó - rendered insensitive, callous, petrified, hardened, stony]. For to this day, when they read the old covenant, that same veil remains not lifted, because in Christ is it removed. 15 Yes, to this day whenever Moses is read a veil lies over the hearts. {Heart/mind.} 16 But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 For wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom and liberty. {Set free to see Truth, and “truth sets free”.} 18 And we, as we look upon him, his radiance, are being transformed into his same image, from glory to glory {and radiance to radiance} [psalm 84:7, "they go from strength to strength”] by the Spirit of the LORD.
