2 Corinthians 6 11-18

12-28 ~ From New Testament Letters

🕊️ (In the Order Believed Written)

11 - We have spoken openly to you, our heart has been open to you. 12 You’re not hampered by us, but by your own sentiments and attitudes. 13 As it is, I speak as to children - widen your hearts as we have ours.

14 Don’t be unequally partnered with unbelievers. For what true unity does righteousness have with lawlessness? Or what friendship has light with darkness? 15 What accord has Christ with Belial [belial - lawlessness, wickedness; reputed to be a name of a demon]? Or what share or allotment does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, as God has said, “I will make my dwelling among you and walk among you, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people [Lev.26:12, Ezek.37:27, Rev.21:3]. 17 Therefore go out from among them, and be separate from them, says the Lord. Participate in no unclean thing, then will I welcome you, 18 and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord All-Powerful.”
