12/24 ~ From New Testament Letters
🕊️ (In the Order Believed Written)
11 - For we who live are always being given over to death in Jesus' name/cause, so that the life of Jesus also may be seen in our mortal lives. 12 So death is at work in us, for life in you.
13 Since we have the same spirit of faith - according to what has been written - even as it says, “I believed, and so I spoke,” so also do we believe, and so we speak. 14 We speak knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus, will raise us as well. And with Jesus, will bring us with you into his presence. 15 All for our sake, so as grace spreads to more and more people it may abound as a {blessed} spirit of thankfulness, to the glory of God.
16 So we don’t lose heart., for as the {present} outward person is passing away, the inner person is being renewed day by day. 17 For this light and momentary affliction [thlipsis - tribulation, affliction, distress, persecution] is preparing for us an enduring fullness of glory beyond all comparison. 18 So we look not to the things that are seen {and happening} but to the things that are not seen. For the things we now see, are passing away, but the things we are not {yet?} seeing is what is enduring.
