JOHN 21 7-15

  πŸƒπŸ•Š️12/12 - GospeL Verses πŸƒπŸ•Š️

7 - Jesus’ favorite disciple (this is how disciple John referred to himself, did his writings in old age) said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. 8 The other disciples came to shore in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only by about a hundred yards.

9 And when they got there, they saw a charcoal fire set, with fish on it, and some bread. 10 Jesus said, “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught!” 11 So Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of 153 large fish, and although there were so many, the net didn’t tear. 12 Jesus said, “Come and have breakfast.” Now none of the disciples said, “Who are you?” For they knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus gave them some bread and some fish. 14 This was now the third time he revealed himself to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.

15 When they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than all this?” He said to him, “Yes, Lord, you know I love you.” He said to him, “Feed my sheep.”
